- A few differences here and there. The thing with the power supplies, the USB, and the pairing between 2 of them. The 2 has bigger ears, and besides that i think it looks better. I also noticed more bass in the version 2.
Overall i would say version 2 gets my vote.

By far the best comparison video to compare the sound quality - Boombox 2 clearly has better bass. A greater sound quality enhancement than the Xtreme 1 compared to the Xtreme 2.
For people didn't know. you can hold the bluetooth button and power - button together at the same time for 10 seconds, it enables ultra mode which is super loud but drains the battery a lot quicker. your welcome.

Vocals are more clear in boombox 1 and the bass is more deep and thumpier in boombox 2 thats what i think both speakers are masters🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥

i listened using boombox 1, and i prefer boombox 1 worthy than the new boombox 2... something in boombox 1 sound that is sweeter to hear like when i am tuning a guitar... it has more sound details than the new one...

Pour moi cette nouvelle version est une version plus aboutie que la première version avec moins de truc inutile comme les deux port USB alors que maintenant ont fait des multi port USB qui fonctionne extrêmement bien ☺️ et les revêtements en caoutchouc sur les côté non seulement sa protège l'enceinte mais ça permet de la rangé debout sans abîmé la surface sur la quelle elle est posé ☺️

The jbl passive radiators on your right shake more from the music then the jbl passive radiator on the left. In saying that, they both got good sound 👍
good video friend that cell phone you have, I am curious how you reproduce both speakers from your same cell phone because I can not do it or if it is an application if you could say thank you friend.
on iphone you can pair both at the same time, and then you can switch back and forth between them. only Android can play both at the same time.

Boombox1 is little loud and treble and highs are nice while boombox2 is balance detailed and more punch on bass

When you plug them in for the test you where using the higher output modes on the speakers. Not sure if you are aware? Playing on the battery would sound different, Probably not by much but its worth mentioning.

Even though boombox 2 has more bass, call me crazy but I prefer the crisp highs and mids on boombox 1 and also its looks. Boombox 2 new add on designs seems a little unnecessary.

Which one is balance?
I need your help! I have bought a new Boombox 1, the JBL Connect App says that its at Firmware 2.0. I know that Firmware 2.8 is the newest one and the sound should be better (not as harsh). Sadly the Connect app doesnt show that there is a newer Firmware available. I ve tried it with my iPhone and an Android device. Any idea how to get this update?

Have the same problem. Before I got my new boombox I had the pl version there was the update available. Then I got my new one so the ND version and there it is still on the version 2.0

@@6mariooo235 i have a harman kardon go+play in my opinion way better then the logitecht Ultemate ears (rape) but i argree with the point that he could have bought an other speakers (btw boombox 1 maxes out at 60 whatts and the 2 goes 80 max my go+play from 2016 does 100 from the battery

Tô na msm dúvida, mas tô quase certo de que a boombox 1 tem graves melhores, fizeram o msm com a Xtreme, lançaram a Xtreme 2, mas a Xtreme 1 é melhor nos graves, sei pq testei ambas qnd fui comprar, e optei pela Xtreme 1, pesquisei bem antes, e descobri q o falante da Xtreme 2 é mais emborrachado, lembrando mais um sub do que um woofer, aconteceu o msm com a boombox

The sound quality ist that big, same as the bass, boombox1 has longer battery life in the real world, and the boombox 1 is cheaper

The excursion on the BB2 visually looks more intense irl compared to the original BB imo.
The BB2 does sound more pleasant compared to the BB generally speaking but there are some tracks that just sounds better on the original BB simply because the way the wave/sound data is formed.
If you use a player that supports EQ rebalancing tho. Then these two are almost identical.
BB2 sounds a bit more louder/powerful no doubt due to the extra 4v, .2A it utilises. But nothing major really imho.
For me personally, it boils down to which design you prefer and make a choice that way.
My biggest gripe with ALL my JLB speakers is simply that I cannot secure my connection.
Anyone can hijack any on them when in use and that just speaks volumes (no pun intended) on the lack of leadership this particular company has.
All essential 21st century features are missing imo. They look and sound ok-ish but every single one underperforms in the sound department and JBL knows it I reckon.
Although they price em with a premium price tag, they simply can’t hold a candle compared to the real McCoy imho.
Any decent given setup(s) will quickly make these models look like toys in comparison which I know first hand unfortunately since the potential is there but is clearly being held back by it’s very own manufacturer sadly.
But if your keen, lookup the elusive communities that offers custom firmwares which just gives owners a glimpse on what these things can truly achieve without JBL’s strict restraints.
Their not for everyone and require a decent technical know how and experience(s) to properly pull off but the rewards are undeniable.
Just as a stock iPhone vs a jailbroken one as an example.

If you really want to pair, you can do that with 2 AUX cable and an AUX splitter. You connect 1 side of the first AUX cable to the BB1, the other side of it to the splitter, you do the same with the other AUX cable but you connect it tot the BB2, and then you plug the AUX splitter to your deivce. And there you go.

because i have the jbl xtreme and other the the size , the xtreme has the same buttons and features as the boom box, just the boom box is louder. and after watching this video i went and bought the jbl boom box 2 and and it is completely different from the original boom box, like they tried to switch it up and make it look different with different features

Eu acabei comprando a B1 porque estava 600 reais a diferença. Não valeria a pena. O som é muito perfeito. Estou totalmente satisfeito. Fora o fato de possibilitar a conexão pelo Connect + com os amigos.
