I ran Mega Zam with high spdf, recover, calm mind, focus blast, and psyshock. I stayed in normal form to prevent toxic/ magma storm from tran/ chansey. Then blew them back with psyshock or blast. I haven't played mons in ages tho.

I think Heatran is so good because of how versatile and anti meta he is. I still see people running surprise, niche sets like balloon, will o wisp, or scarf on occasion. That's why I think hes the pinnacle of design for a good OU mon. He encourages smart play and decision making while not being so overpowered that it feels unfair to lose to him.

I'd really like if you made more of these competitive analysis type videos, they're really beneficial tbh. The best teams I've ever built in gen 6 and 7 have gotten me to the upper 1700s (top 250 on ladder at the time) and they were built somewhat around team archetypes you've discussed, I reallly appreciate these types of videos bro keep it up.

I use Porygon-Z all the time. It's good. Not amongst the best in OU but is very decent and easily deserves to be in the viability rankings. Something that can set up in one move and sweep entire teams (both elec and ghost are good) or nuke a pokemon with it's Z-breakneck blitz (which you can do even off a hidden power) I feel is a bit silly not to even make the viability rankings. I feel people just don't know the mon well, and haven't bothered to try it out enough or learn what it does.
I love how no matter what the gen, no matter what new and crazy shit is thrown at us, garchomp still somehow ends up being high up there by the end lol
The land shark is an all time heater. Shit warped dpp then settled into one of the most consistent rockers period. Still will slap a fool who doubts his shit and has an actually balanced mega where there's legit choices to use mega vs reg. Chomp the real goat.

I'd be surprised if it was viable outside of stall, but I wanna see an offensive Moltres set for OU. Timid Specs guaranteed 2hko's Toxapex after rocks and is nearly a 50/50 roll without them. It can melt some of the bulky offense stuff like av tang and mag, ohko bulky lando, and just potentially shit on lots of bulky mons.

Thundurus T underrated. Modest max spa Sludge wave, tbolt, hp ice, defog. Ohkos or does big damage to most tapu's and is immune to tbolt. Can ohko low spdf lando's. (I think I ran life orb)? Idfk, but I remember it doing crazy work. I haven't played in ages.
Why plate over LO? Thundurus T isn’t really bulky enough to warrant trading off the recoil for less damage, not to mention it buffs bolt and wave as well.
