You should retrobright the ring as it'll restore the color of it and get rid of the yellowing with age. Tons of people do it to old game consoles and computers, but it'll work with anything old that's made of plastic.

Pro tip when placing stickers on anything you should scrape where your going to put the sticker with like a credit card or something like it cause even after you cleaned it cause sometimes little hard pieces of debris can be stuck on it creating bumps after I learned that it helped a bit cause I'm a bit perfectionist so I didn't have to keep replacing the sticker cause of bumps
Still remember going with a friend and his mom to a Sears ( about 45 miles from our town... no stores close to us had them ) specifically so they could buy this ring .... I remember his being blue though.

DON'T use a screwdriver to put the ropes in. You may damage the ropes. Instead, cut the end of a small zip tie, fold it over, and thread it through the whole.
