My Uncle and Aunt had a brother abd sister cats that pulled a cord and rang a bell when they wanted in. They were the most famous cats in Tavernier, the Florida Keys.
I think that's the longest Larry had to wait for the door to open. Most times, it's immediate. I'm sure that there's a staff member, just there to make sure the door is opened in a timely manner.
i've done that ...locally, not to Downing St. If i see a cat waiting by the front door, i sneak up, ring the doorbell and run. Nowadays it's not as much fun because everyone is getting front door cameras. Cheers!
When I said that I thought it cruel to leave Larry waiting for so long....to be honest, it was raining and if a policeman hadn't knocked on the door poor Larry would have caught pneumonia.
