Zelestia: You are just like our Mauvier. Kind and honorable. How was I in your world? Mauvier: You were a total bitch. And also murdered Marni. Our version of your Madelin. Zelestia: 0_o

Actually, there is one aspect of the Mauviers that is different; their passivity. Alternate Mauvier was proactive, he did not wait, and he was not passive. This is why he died instead of losing the Four Winds. Mainline Mauvier is passive, and it caused the death of Marni.
I kinda like how Zelestia is something of a subversion to the 'little girl dragon' fire emblem trope Having lived so long she is lonely and has a naive understanding of human companionship, but it manifests as a doting maternal instinct rather than a simple desire for friends
If you didnt recall that she is still a `What if variant` on Zephia, who was straight up the obsessive for a family, that she believed it has to be one related by blood that she ironically got a family after `thousands of years` that didnt need direct blood relationships but was too ignorant of it till she was literally dying. Heck even playing the supposed long-con game with one specific Master, when she could of likely got in bed with anyone in general for that blood-line based relationship. Likely going off the `needs a superior individual` to be thar partner type logic. Ultimately, Zelestia is just the `we fixed this character to be wholesome logic`, which probably explains why Mauvier didn`t get any actual variation for his Four winds counterpart. Because they wanted only `the antagonists` get the bad guy twist and suddenly sympathic at death, so anyone who is a good boy already stayed a good boy if they didnt have Mc`guffin elements to splain why everyone is a meanie all of a sudden. So really, its less about `she manifested as a doting maternal instinct` and more like they `twisted` the desire for family in a positive non-ignorant direction, instead of a malicious ignorant for plots sake focus.
@dizzyheads yeah Zelestia go to Lythos and met Lumera instead Zephia becoming à servant of Sonbrom No wonder their values and personalities are way different

@@BladeSerph You didn't complete the game, correct? Otherwise you would know it depends on the person who revives the dead to Corrupted as well as their intentions. I just realized, it could be possible that Zelestia never had time to mourn for their Mauvier the whole time during the DLC story even to the point where she asked Madeline that its ok to mourn for him, she had to be strong on that point in time considering she is still the leader of the winds and has to be strong for em, but when its time for her to see the exact semblance of the man who sacrifices his life for his new family, the held up emotions were too much that it broke away like a destroyed dam
More than likely. She goes from Mauvier dying, to watching Nel die, to immediately being adopted by Alear to join our war in the mainline world. Highly doubt she had any time to square away her feelings before making sure the Winds were okay.
