With retrospect, this is the best season of hockey I’ve watched, so many good memories and new friends from watching the j my dorm. A year I will never forget
I absolutely hated being from Las Vegas. But that changed in 2018. Before 2018 the only semi pro team we have is the running rebels from UNLV. The Golden Knights has their very first season, and they took off and went to the Finals. We didn't take what was rightfully ours that year. Having the cup with VGKs grasp not only made the entire city want it more, but the team, moreso the misfits, were haunted by that loss. 2019-2021 was not good for the team. VGK fired Gallant and hired Deboer, the coach of our hated rival, the San Jose Sharks. Every single year we got to either semi finals or the conference finals, and we couldn't win, mainly because Marc Andre Fleury would do something and would screw everything up. VGK gained new members, first Max Pacioretty, then Mark Stone, then Alex Martinez, then Alex Petrangelo, and finally, Jack Eichel. We also traded Fleury to the Blackhawks, and in the worst move for the team, signed Robin Lehner to a contract. The city got to see how unreliable Lehner was in net, they went from wanting him to replace Fleury, to ultimately regretting everything and turning on Lehner when he told the press that he's not in the NHL nor on VGK to win games. 2022 started and VGK hired Bruce Cassidy as their head coach and started with Logan Thompson and Aden Hill in net. We then took Jonathan Quick, a La King who I never imagined in a million years to join VGK. 2023 came and we ended up dominating every single team that was put in our way. We then proceeded win the conference final again, but this time, we fixed the mistake that was made year one, we ignored and neglected the Campbell trophy. VGK wasnt interested in that trophy, instead VGK and moreso the city had our eyes on the one thing that haunted us....to win the Stanley Cup. We proceeded to systematically dismantle the Florida Panthers, and we proved that Bobrovski was only human. Game 5 came and not only did we beat the Panthers, we destroyed their confidence, and buried them. We finally had what was ours since day 1, the Stanley Cup. It was fucking glorious, and we did it without Marc Andre Fleury in net.
What a great memories for VGK team got a deal and jobs done in 6 years to win its 1st Stanley Cup Champions to bring a sin city of Vegas will always be remembered.
Thank you for making this mini movie,, LOVE watching the knights ❤️,, can’t wait for the next season to start😊 HOPEFULLY the knights will win back to back❤
Maybe… we’ll see. I’ll probably do this again next year, the main reason I did it this year was because I am a knights fan but I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback so I look forward to making it for the 2024 Stanley cup champions whoever it may be.
I’m curious, did you not like the eichel trade. It seems to me like a win win for both teams as Vegas got the #1 center they needed and Buffalo got young talent in Payton krebs and the draft pick we gave them plus possibly their future captain Alex Tuch.
Yeah I realized that pretty soon after the video was released but there’s nothing I can do to change it without taking the video down and re uploading it.
@SportsHeaven_ nah its this ass hole. Every video made on the Knights Stanley Cup final he comments this same thing almkst word for word. Just a salty basement dweller. Your video is 🔥
Personally, I think the hate is STUPID. Sure, a NHL hockey player is going to just get fired up about losing just bc the team they're on is new. That's the idiotic logic of a casual. And I loathe casuals.
Vegas earned it. But my god did they almost buy it. And they won with a 5th string freakin goalie. Relish it Knights fans, the way the league is you may not get another for a while.
@@vMaFiia u remember the high stick in game 6 we’re we watching the same series. Don’t blame goal tending Stuart skinner is gonna be a great goalie In the future he just should not have been in the position he was in
@@OILERS646the high stick in game 6 was a follow through which is why it wasn’t called. Also , even if I were to admit that was a bad call, which I don’t, that’s just 1 call when the game was already very likely over. If 1 call can make your team lose an entire series then that team isn’t good enough anyway. There wasn’t any large numbers of bad calls that could’ve affected the outcome. Also, there’s bad calls in every single series that go both ways and this series was no different . Vegas was just the better team. Edmonton is way too top heavy and play no defense . If they’re ever going to win a cup they need more depth on lines that aren’t the McDavid and Drai lines and they need better defensive defensemen . Vegas has Mcnabb and Martinez who are 2 of the best defensive defensemen in the league . Martinez leads the league in shot blocks every season by a mile and Mcnabb is towards the top as well. Then they also have great defensemen that are outstanding defensively but can also put out offense like Pietrangelo, Theodore, and Whitecloud. Vegas defense is literally double as good as Edmonton . Edmonton just wasn’t as good of a team . 2 insanely good players can’t win a cup by themselves. Stop making excuses . Your team just got beat fair and square .

I'm proud to be from Las Vegas. Battle born brother. We're a strong people and have earned the right be in the national spotlight.
it was a complete team effort!!!!
Excellent recap video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Finally, the immortality we were denied in 2018
We weren’t as good in 2018. We dominated in the playoffs this year!

Yea they’ll lose to Vegas in 7
They Will Raise Banner To The Rafters Soon
I remember before the season started people called hill an ahl goalie
Cup in Six W
Ain't nothing better
Post mini season movie.
Great video editing!!
only other feedback would be the volume is inconsistant.
Alex Tuch should have a ring with the knights.

RUclips why you recommending a vid about the team I hate the most in the world?
Why?

VGK is a power franchise. They WILL win others & soon.
Refs screwed Edmonton all I gotta say
Were you watching the same series? I don't remember any really bad calls. Vegas was simply amazing. Blame Edmonton goaltending if you have too.
