What''s the thickness of your guitar strings? I have 11-52 and it's not enough for drop a tuning
i'd recommend using 12 and higher. i have 12 gauge strings and they seem just perfect for drop a and b

@@arthitsun9602 i have 2 guitars. one of them has passive pickups, the other - active. but i use 12 gauge strings for both
@@Danny-nq3us you gotta tell them more info than just 12 gauge, since there are heavy bottom and normal top, like 12-52 or 12-54 but on a 25.5" scale guitar you need atleast 12-48 for the bottom 5 strings and a 60 gauge or more for the 6th string
@@arthitsun9602 If yours are passive just add more gain and treble :) or invest in an EQ pedal

maybe a tiny bit of reverb but most people dont use any effects for slipknot songs

You’re basically playing notes on the 5th and 3rd strings, but muting the 4th string so that no more sounds from that string 🤘
