When grinding through and up the lines I chose JP2 but when I later went back to Ferdy, I fell in love with it. It is one of my favorite tier 8 tanks for random play. I want the angry rabbit attachment that the Chinese tanks have to be available on the ferd though.

this tank was a credit grinder back when only 3 tech trees were available, no lights past Tier 7 and heavies lacked armor so they had to either hulldown or sidescrape to survive against the ferdinand, if they get lucky they surprise flanked you
the thing about camping heavies is so relatable.back in the american research line i used to grind the lights.I switched to the heavies because im a camper at heart.my win rate increased by 20% and i seriously feel invincible now lolll
The Germans built the Ferdinand because Porsche thought that his project would me chose to be the Tiger I, so he built some hulls. The project from Henschel was chosen and they had to do something with the Porsche ones, so they added a superstructure, the long 88 gun and there you go.
Do people forget how broken this thing was in the first couple years of blitz. Thing was a menace back in +2/-2 MM. Quite arguably the best tier 8 in the game at the time next to the ISU.
