Thats strange. Re installing spotify will be the last option. Have you restarted your mobile device after reinstall? Try signing out from all devices. For that you need to access your Spotify account page from web browser and from there you can sign out from all the devices. Hope this helps. For me, the solution given in the video, worked perfectly.
