Yes! They expect us to continually put up with their abuse, their ghosting, and mistreatment, but when they get cut off in return (or cussed out), they cannot handle it!! That’s when they play the victim card and make excuses. They have a blind spot for their crappy behavior, and lack the self-awareness needed to see that they need to change their behavior. Had an ex-girlfriend that pulled this b.s. on me. She left me completely radio silent for 2 WEEKS with only a breadcrumb text after that first week went by. That entire time period she was in the middle of monkey branching to another guy she ended up having a relationship with for about a year and a half after she had left me. My friend didn't show up for our (my) plans. I called the night before (last week) to ask if she was still coming. She said "Absolutely, I'm coming" I'll call you tomorrow etc. Day of, no-show, no call, no text, no contact. Then calls me 5 days later. I don't answer. She then texts me early the next morning about some random thing that has nothing to do with the situation, with no acknowledgement of what happened. I don't respond. I knew exactly that this would happen: that she'd say she's coming, but then not show up or contact me on the day of. And that's just what happened. I've already addressed this with her months ago when she did this a few times. I told her its fine to cancel, but at least cancel. Comnunicate something, so I'm not waiting around for you. I love her but I'm fed up. I know she drinks daily. Maybe she gets drunk and forgets or is drunk when she agrees to the plans. I've known her for a year. She's a grown woman, 42 and I'm 32. I plan on staying silent and letting it be until she says something real. But wondering a bit if I should speak up and express to her (again) that I'm bothered/inconvenienced by her behavior. I’m going to follow you. you describe my ex-husband. when he started disrespecting me And ignoring me And coming home late and leaving early and talking to other women behind my back. I told him he needed to get right with God and that he needed to quit all this drinking and running around and hiding from me. I gave him 30 days and on the 30th day he showed our like a fool in front of our friend. I moved out and I have never seen him again. after eight years and three children, that man never called me, never saw me, never talk to me again, other than for us to say “it’s over”. He didn’t love me. He didn’t respect me . he didn’t want this relationship the way I did. So I’m single at 48 but I’m proud of myself for doing that because I could’ve stayed and been emotionally abused. I could’ve stayed and settled for that bad treatment. But I stood up for myself. I say this right now with tears coming out of my eyes because it doesn’t feel good, it hurts, but I did what was right for me and my child.

Had an ex-girlfriend that pulled this b.s. on me. She left me completely radio silent for 2 WEEKS with only a breadcrumb text after that first week went by. That entire time period she was in the middle of monkey branching to another guy she ended up having a relationship with for about a year and a half after she had left me. Since then, I haven't had any contact with her and her behavior is completely disgusting, as well as uncalled for by any means. She never apologized. Not like I expected her to anyway. It's just that good people will never act this way. She revealed her true colors by her betrayal of me about 2 years ago. I still refuse to talk to her as a result.

My friend didn't show up for our (my) plans. I called the night before (last week) to ask if she was still coming. She said "Absolutely, I'm coming" I'll call you tomorrow etc. Day of, no-show, no call, no text, no contact. Then calls me 5 days later. I don't answer. She then texts me early the next morning about some random thing that has nothing to do with the situation, with no acknowledgement of what happened. I don't respond. I knew exactly that this would happen: that she'd say she's coming, but then not show up or contact me on the day of. And that's just what happened. I've already addressed this with her months ago when she did this a few times. I told her its fine to cancel, but at least cancel. Comnunicate something, so I'm not waiting around for you. I love her but I'm fed up. I know she drinks daily. Maybe she gets drunk and forgets or is drunk when she agrees to the plans. I've known her for a year. She's a grown woman, 42 and I'm 32. I plan on staying silent and letting it be until she says something real. But wondering a bit if I should speak up and express to her (again) that I'm bothered/inconvenienced by her behavior. Isn't once enough? I think so
