I met her at a book signing event at Barnes and Noble at the Grove in Los Angeles. She was my role model since I was 15 and because of her I used Velcro curlers. I looked up to her being that she was the first model I could identify since, she has brown hair and brown eyes. Most models at that time were all blond hair colored eyed. I had read she was Valedictorian of her class and changed the way people thought of models, smart and beautiful. I think she looks a lot younger in person. I was surprised that she was so down to earth, even picked up my three year old for a picture. She did not disappoint, she was extremely nice and beautiful. I was surprised that at 40 years of age I began to cry. I guess the emotions of looking up to her all my teen years and never thinking I'd actually be able to meet her got to me. The last SUPERMODEL!
