Have you thought about adding cooling fins to your motors? Do you run any ferro fluid or Statorade inside of them? I’m just curious as I plan to do some long trips at higher speeds and as we know this FL heat & humidity can take its toll. I haven’t figure it out yet, but I was also thinking about liquid cooling for batteries like Tesla and other EV’s use. Similar concept like gaming PC’s run and the larger Fardriver controllers. I recognized most of that area since I sometimes DoorDash there. I’m about 9mi south of E-bike guy here in Sebring…
Do you use Statorade from Grin Tech for cooling your direct drive motors? I use it on my All Wheel DRIVE fat bike and it cools the motors very well. Not for use on geared motors.
