As someone who tries to stay as organized as possible I’m really amazed at the layout you have everything
Although it is odd that for a video that tries to example good organisation and neatness, there has been zero effort made to edit the commentary mistakes. Fluffed lines aren't edited out at all. Just an odd dynamic to have such lazy editing practices while preaching about fine details in a game.
Love the guides! They're comprehensive enough to cover the topic I'm looking for without spoiling parts of the game I haven't yet reached. Keep the Palworld content coming!
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, they are so helpful!
Some tips, work speed does not affect grazing whatsoever, found out the hard way of breeding over 100 Mozzacows, so had a nice little chuckle at the intro lol. Viewing cages are extremely useful, its its own box, its like a visual representation of my to do list. The signs are very useful, you can write on them, I use this to remember what Im breeding for, as I have 5 breeding farms, it gets confusing. Bring all your food here, stockpile it, get a cooling only pal. Use the base for only breeding, AI is really bad, not sure how it is with the new update, but my Pals would not breed until I went to an area with nothing on it, no trees, rocks, nothing, or other jobs, except for cooking. I have at least 5 kindling pals batch cook and put them back in the palbox. Do not put the farm in the blue outline of the base, whatsoever. My location is 150,150, perfect temperature so you will have 100 percent incubation at all times with one heat/cooling source.
Yeah sanity and food drain reductions are best on ranch pals.
I like this.
Not like this. The placebo effect of my pals giving me more resources was really just a placebo, the ★s was the cause all along.
God dammit I just finished breeding cows with the 4 work speed perks 😡 took me forever, atleast I haven't done others
@whoohoo1321 Let's look at the positives of this, we can spend another 100+ breeding to pass those onto pals that can actually use it.
Your videos are great, man. I watch them often for tips and strats. I appreciate your effort
cotton candy is the best to fill up feedbox spaces than honey because sometimes when u bake cake it can use the honey from feedbox, then u will have to keep refilling the empty space with honey again
That explains it!! Thanks
You should keep 1 feedbox free tho --- ai is retarded and they wont bring you milk and stuff into refrigerator.
I found a perfect base sized circle area up high in the NW before the snow. Built 8 pens with room in between for storage, cooking facilities, storage etc. Also four chests spawn occasionally as a bonus. If you place the palbox perfectly it is just perfect 👌
Yea in the same spot those chest drop some crazy crap 😂
Thank you so much for this.
I'm gonna try to replicate this setup as closely as I can, breeding has been a huge issue for me. It kept breaking so much that actually getting a single egg out of a breeding pen became a rarity. I was losing my mind with how often it broke, I couldn't fix it, I felt locked out of a big part of the game, couldn't get a proper mount, never went out exploring, and ultimately stopped playing the game over a week ago because of it. I still want to get back into it, hopefully this will help.
Yeah I also built a 2nd base yesterday just for breeding. Completely flat ground, 5 pens in a circle/flower pattern around the pal box, plenty of space between them and they're far from the edge. The feeding and storage are at the center. The gaps behind the pens are filled with beds, spas and so on.
I also put 2 ranches in there since I had problems with assignment, so I put the ranch animals that have multiple skills in this base (for example, flambelle and beegarde). They don't have anything else to do in this base besides ranching so it's basically guaranteed they won't go around doing misc. stuff.
Everything else including baking cakes is just done in the main base
about the cooler, I highly recommend the vanwyrm cryst cause it is the only nocturnal freezing pal and working day and night.
Changed few things but this changed my whole experience. Base is always happy
This was AMAZING!!! Thank you, I needed this!
Thanks for the video! Would you be able to take bird-eye view of the base by any chance?
cranking them vids out so fast that the redos aren’t edited out 😂
fucking hilarious.
So helpful! Thank you. Could you show your base from above? And maybe the inside of your house in this base? It looks pretty cool.
Thanks Tag!
I think someone did some digging and work speed does not affect grazing unfortunately, just the stars/pal skill level. So the theorycrafted best pal is super speedy ranchers and either decrease hunger or sanity loss passives. Considering the ranches are next to everything a pal needs, maybe could swap out speed for more hunger or sanity oriented passives?
So you mean Artisan, Serious, Lucky and Work slave don't have effect at all?
@@SD-kx9jj Work speed does nothing at all for ranching pals. If the pals ranching have other work suitabilities, then an argument can be made to have them. Otherwise, you want movement speed so they can get back to the ranch quicker; and diet or sanity passives so they eat less or take less breaks.
Loving the videos ke
Videos keep up the
The good work
Hey, thanks for the video. Do you happen to have a birds eye view of your base? I would like to use your design on my own base. Keep it up!
Is there a building tutorial on his setup including the house?
I’ve never had a problem with big pals in my bases, it’s the small ones that keep becoming incapacitated. Whenever I go to my ore base my hangyus and incineram are always dead but the reptyros and digtoises are still just chipping away😂
Artisan does not affect egg laying speed but upgrading the skill does
What's your thoughts on a pal grinder something where let's say you breed a tone of lam or chicken and would love to gdt there meat but dont wanna butcher them one buy one the you can put them into a pal grinder and get all your drops off them so things like meat farms can be affective(just an idea)
I like giving the breeders the best high food as possible, means they sit at the food for a lot less time.
From what I can tell they don't breed faster with salad. Neither does having things like artisan on the breeding pals.
I also put the house just outside the edge of the circle. Also just built it 2 x 3, enough for some chests and a bed. So that doesn't take up a huge chunk of land. My farms are on the left side, my breeding pens are on the right side, with beds and hotsprings down the middle. Feeding box just outside the breeding pen, and 1 over by the farms. SO no one crosses over each other.
and now with the 1.4 patch they no longer get hungry when breeding!
@@nighteyeswolf awesome :D
Amazing vid
I would love a step by step in how to make the base!
The patch fix alot of the breeding pen problems, also they seem to just sleep in the pen now and never leave to eat
Newest Patch notes said it tweaked pathing so they don’t get stuck but xbox version of it seems delayed
Most of your tips work!
That's one happy liftmunk! :D
I make a tower for the beds, stack them in a corner so theres less space taken up overall. If they cant reach the beds, they'll just fall asleep in their work space and still get the full benefits of the bed
Does this actually work? The beds take up so much space I would love to build a more compact area to shove those pal beds.
wait what???? it works without them sleeping on the bed itself? (sanity level recovery)
From my personal testing a breeding pen will function exactly the same whether it is inside or partially inside the base. All of my breeding pens have always been approximately 25% outside the ring and all have functioned exactly the same as a breeding pen I build in the middle for testing purposes.
Also, my structures have consistently been built partially in/out of the base for buildings.
I am 99% sure that as long as at least some of the part is inside the circle, it will not deteriorate.
And I play normal difficulty with absolutely 0 alterations to any world settings.
my breeding pens are 40% outside of base circle and used to break regularly.
My fix was to build defense walls inside them so the pals can't go outside the blue zone and freeze.
Started watchin' ya bc palworld brought me to you. I think you aren't lazy and overall good. Keep it up!
Thankfully some of the things in here are already outdated with the patch.. Breeding pens are SO much easier to use now! I used to have to trap my pals inside with fences, and have a feeding bowl inside.. but then other pals would get stuck in the middle of the two bowls. LOL Thankfully the patch fixed that and SO many things! :D Thanks for a great comprehensive video though, a lot of this is still very helpful! :)
show inside the house too! its pretty aesthetic
Workspeed doesn't effect cows or chickens etc. Only limit breaking them from condensing works in increase output.
Oh my God thanks for this information. I have been going crazy trying to get a good chicken. Where did you hear this??
@@rwulf Reddit post with datamined information.
I'd love to try this base out. Can we get an aerial view please?
Nice, i just started breeding after played 63 days in game.
i build one big house with two stories for each floor so i can fit everything on every floor with all beds and spa, cooking on bottom floor and on top floor theres sphere assembly line and breeding pens theres a few breeding pen on the ground if they fit also, on second floor i have all wheat, berry plantage, etc. i built my bases on mining sites so can get couple hundred spheres every day in every base and when have couple thousand ores after few days while out hunting and exploring i just change the pals in one base to use the breeding farm, the two other bases mine ore and coal and quartz crystals so production never stops.
I have troubles building stories. the stairs never seem to work for me. does this method work good? Any tips?
@@openingthemic3716 yeah it seems to work the big guys sometimes just stand on the ground first floor watering my berries, wheat on second floor instead of go up there but planting and harvest they usually go up there.
Stairs i build one forward and one to the side and make for a few floors so running around a loop up the floors kinda like circular stair you just need build a foundation and clear foundation after stairs are built.
Thankyou! @@Pjater81
Go to the location north-west of your location. The double plateau. I took the higher area and it's the best location ever since it's flat and enemies can't attack you (right now) because they get stuck on the edge xD
Real gold in the comments as per usual
Quick tip. Build multiple feed boxes. Put one close to each specific area so your pals just have a quick walk. This way you avoid the pals crowding and getting stuck. Since feed boxes also work like storage, you can have milk and eggs in one by the ranch but your cooking pot is across the base by your breeding farm, you can still use the cooking pot to take those ingredients from far away to make cake.
Also add a single piece of honey or cotton candy to fill up your feed box. By doing so you can have a cooler nearby and your pals will put your ingredients in that instead
Nice video but I think I’ve already optimized breeding. I now only have to go put them back in the pen every 20 minutes rather than every 10
Get a mining/breeding base instead, you can ditch the cattle ranch and make ingots, craft the ingots into nails. Sell the nails and use the massive stonks to just buy ingredients instead, its much more optimized and this lets you also buy other items you might need too and have space for more breeding farms. Plus you get to watch a herd of anubis naruto run everywhere.
can you do a video on the best stats ive been sstruggling to decide what the spend my stat points on
Is it warm enough in this location? Because I have the problem, that some eggs are too cold even though I have built the heater at lvl 17 and campfires around it
Do you put in the glitch-cuts intentionally? you have them in all your videos.
What about replacing the farm animals with mau? And then buy the cake ingredients?
Literally been trying to get get all my work pals with Artisan, Serious, lucky, and work slave. Nothing like 115%+ work efficiency. Breeding has consumed my time lol.
Swift is better than lucky helps them feed and get back to work faster, or transport goods faster.
Not sure if it's the editing that's the issue, but you may need to reinstall your software if it's exporting your vids this way. I know how annoying it can be to reset something like Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas. I also know you're aware, but still...
We need more helpful information exactly like this for console players, and seems like teleporting to bases bug base pals, they just stack up in same spot
I’ve found that Incinaram is probably the best at transporting everything for you
Man, I already built a breeding base in the same exact location as this like three days ago that’s hilarious
Well...now I wanna redo my main base all over again 😂
Hey! We are neighbors. Im on that island to the northwest, right on top of a cliff. Keeps the raids away and stuck on a corner before the base.
how'd u put your foundation on the ground like that
Best base I've found so far is the Flopie mountain fast travel puts you on a plateau with a flat build land with 1 ore and 1 coal in base and 6 ore nodes in the back for manual mining. And all the raid so a far has been at the bottom of the plateau. And because the base is literally next to a fast travel you can move base without having to building a palbox. Great if you already have 3.
O just north of the plateau is sulfur node and a fruit tree. It's a crazy location.
Do you know the coordinates ?
@@isaac14ac follow the road north of the Elizabee alpha spawn point till you. Hit the fast travel point
I put a merchant there to get milk and eggs because I always seem to be lacking that
You know, now that you mention it, my bottleneck is Milk and I bet if I replaced my two Mozzarinas with a Sibelyx and a Wandering Trader I could sell the High Quality Cloth for the money to buy more Milk than the two Mozzarina produce. And High Quality Cloth doesn't spoil either, so that Milk will be there when I need it.
Reading all these comments, I was so proud to have bred "perfect" mau, mau cryst, chikipi and mozzarina. I ended up making a 4* breeding pair of each with all the work speed perks...it's taken me a week of breeding...pure pain. I really feel like it should benefit ranch pals, it seems unintuitive that it doesn't because ranching is "work". Havin a big ol bowl of sour grapes : /
Jellyroll seems like pretty good food. 51 nutrition and 6 sanity. Super cheap and fast to make with two ingredients.
can you do a vid explaining schematics i still have no idea the use for them since i already have the recipes unlocked
you need to have them in your inventory and you can go to any crafting station that accepts it and craft it there. the higher the rarity of the schematic of the item then the more expensive but stronger it will be
ah cheers didnt know there was different stats and rarities @@enshrowd
@@McConnell2111 yeah! commonly you’ll find uncommon and rare ones (green and blue) but they go up to legendary! they get pretty expensive to craft and repair and only drop from certain alpha pals but they do a shit ton of damage and have way more durability
PROBLEM tho, when you want to repair a rare or epic crossbow that uses ancient parts@@enshrowd
IT USES ANCIENT PARTS EVEN WHEN THE RECIPE DOESNT SHOW IT
unless they patched it out
I recomend you unlock some type of box just for blueprints as you gona get many the more you run dungeons.
Is there a recipe to breed for Beegard, after 10 attempts of failing to catch one
Tag back do a guide on stats
great videos as always. I really like the cuts you do where you repeat the same phrase more than once. really shows you take the time to think things through.
Are you going to do a cave location video or most powerful fighting Pals? maybe even break the fighters up between elements? I know the Sweepa and Elizabee pure party is nuts but I'd like a mixed or Dark party.
Awesome
Unless im around the base the whole time, my breeders keep glitching out the back of the pen. I see you may have answered my problem in the first min.
Eh, every time i get back to game i have to resert the mother and parent as they just stop working :P
@Bullminator built a new base with these tips in mind, and haven't had any issues yet today.
@Bullminator yeah, still the occasional issue, but it has improved for me.
The only thing that increases ranch pals is their condense lvl. Lvl 4 will lay more eggs than lvl 0.
Wish you had a birds-eye view of your base so we can see your placement and spacing.
Thiccccc man 😂😂 no problems here I think Tag
i do i everything right but my pals get depressed or overfull so often idk why sadly
i saw you geeking out about getting Workspeed rolls on Grazing Pals and i gotta tell you there isn’t much of an effect, less than 10% increase in effectiveness. it’s only gonna be good for pals that actually plant or water or cook or craft stuff.
the ideal passives you’ll want for Grazing animals (disregarding any ATK or DEF passives) are:
Dainty Eater, Diet Lover, Positive Thinker, and Workaholic!
Nah. Min/max traits are move speed traits. Swift > Runner > Dainty Eater > Legend. San isn't an issue for grazers, and getting to work/food 30% faster is more productive than eating 15% less.
Yeah there is no effect at all lol. This was while I was testing that. It's all about the star level
But how does it handle raids, thats pretty open, I'm level 45 now and some of the raids get nasty with the genetic research crews or the explosive Lovanders
Build Metal Walls, they attack them to no avail for a bit then give up and leave
yeah I've got metal walls, they do indeed attack them, but I still make sure to kill what I can before it gets to that point, a jormuntide with the hydro laser does wonders to melt most enemy groups@@HeavyMetalLink05
The radius need to be larger.. it just causes all kinds of issues.. especially with the Pals getting bigger and bigger, the ridiculous hit box issues.. and being a circle makes it even more ridiculous. Maybe the patch helps with a lot of these current issue tho. No hate, love the game a ton.
Dont waste time farming supplies, just make and sell nails.
It generates plenty of cash to buy everything you need .
You can even catch all vendors you need easely and store him in your base when you need to buy.
This saved me so much hassle and time.
Same goes for ammo, dont waste time farming sulfer and making gunpowder, just sell nails and buy all the ammo you need. You'll never run out!
When i needed high quality pal oils I used to go farm it and wasted 15 minutes for 30 oils.
Then I found out I can just throw out my vendor, sell nails and buy 50 oils in 10 seconds.
Same for bones, leather, wool and all the rest..
The high sale price of nails was reduced in a recent patch.
"the downside of this the downside of this the downside of this"
To sustain 15 pals you only need 1 lettuce and 1 tomato farms for the salads, plus the wheat for the cakes.
cooked berries cook much faster than salads and work just as well, the lower nutrition causes eating more often which regenerates more Sanity in return
@@enshrowd Salads give a 30% workspeed boost, which is huge, but I only use it in my main base. I heard that workspeed doesn't make breeding faster, not sure if that's true but I just use berries in the breeding base and salads in the main base
@@enshrowd Yes, but since they have to go eat more often, that mean less time working. on the other hand, the salad also increase productivity, and the difference is so noticeable when crafting high tier items, or doing high tier work.
This still relevant post patch?
When/how do you know if you can open another pal box
Press v on the palbox and on the bottom it tells you. 2->3 means next level you'll unlock your third and final base for example, whereas 2->2 means you have 2 bases unlocked and next level you dont get another. Hope this helped
You get a new base at base lvl 10 and another at base lvl 15 I think.
When you go to the pal box go to see missions or whatever that prompt is. And it will show you how many pals you can put on the base and below it shows how many bases you have possible
go to your pal box and press 'upgrade base' then u can see how many maximum bases u have, at lvl 10 u unlock the 2nd base (pal box build limit)
HELP! my verdash doesnt loot! it just stands there, displaying 10.000 exclamation marks over its head and then proceeds to pick up 1 item.... after that, the exclamation marks continue -.- is there a fix for that?
oh they are not exclamation marks... thats lamps over his head as if he has a bright idea tenthousand times before looting
also it doesnt matter which transportation pal i use... they all have the same bug
Dang dude you need to hire an editor or fire the one you have(if you do have one). Every vid I watch from you has tons of retakes that werent cut out
your character don't skip legs day lol
How did he get his stone floors level with the ground?
I was wondering the same exact thing. Also if I try to build the breeding farms on top of a stone foundation, they clip into em and don't allow me. Might be a console/pc difference I'm guessing?
@@honestinsincerity2270 i figured it out, if you hold the blue outline before u place it at a certain distance it will clip into the floor, just move ur mouse up and down to find the sweet spot
Hmm. I’ve got a wheat farm, 2 berry farms, and 2 beds inside one of my breeding farm and it works for 90% of pals
Serious Artisan Chikpi for what? Animals grazing do not drop more items with higher work speed
You don’t annunciate the J you’d say it as “your” when saying jormuntide 😂😂😂
You gotta start taking your time with these videos man. Almost every video you put out has several takes of the same lines lol.
Or you can change the world seetings to 0 incubation time and it is great. You place the egg. And grab the egg. Since the settings are based on massive eggs. Took me 2 seconds to hatch massive eggs. Hold place hold grab. Boom pal born
Not sure if its a running joke or something but you should really watch your videos back and fix the cuts.
Can we breed shiny pal?
You can't get a Shiny egg Pal from breeding process
@@SD-kx9jj thx bro 🙏🏻
Build on top of a large mountain so you don't get raided by AI.
Im surprised you don't put 20 pals in the base.
Cant in normal mode due to settings.
Good video although the editor forgot to cut out like 80% of your literacy screw ups and repeats, so you just keep repeating the same shit over and over 🤣
U Guys aggree w me that the big beds are Just fucking huge? I
It's so you can sleep along with your pal
If your Pals can't reach the bed, they sleep on the ground where they are, but will still get the benefit of the bed
So I built a Tower and just stacked all the beds up there, that way they don't take up all that base space
@@HeavyMetalLink05 Do they really get the benefits? I had a base like that back when the game started, and all the pals were running out of sanity and getting sick all the time. I thought the beds played a role in that.
Theres a base location that a streamer found, that has both Neutral Temp & Colder Temps, which allows you to breed all 3 different Temp zones in the same base at perfect 100% efficiency. For the eggs that are too cold, you just put a campfire nearby so u dont need a kindler and heater. Then neutral temp eggs and colder temp eggs u just place in the spot where the temps change. Add ranch with chiken, cow, and bee and kiln for cake. Wheat, berry, lettuce, tomato farm and pal beds. Waterers, gatherers, harvesters, And boom you have a perfect breeder farm
why is it so thicc
The multiple video editing errors in each and every video of him bother me more than they should :D ffs
My condolences on wasting your time with the serious artisan chikipis lol Work Speed DOES NOT affect anything in the ranch, and it also doesnt affect harvesting of natural spawn resources like ore and trees. So getting the work speed buffs on pals that work in the ranch, or for mining operations is quite literally pointless.
Youre best getting food and sanity drain perks for ranch pals, and also for the jolthogs, as there is no difference between level 1 cooling and electricity compared to level 4. a Jolthog can keep a power generator at max capacity permanently.
What about pizza?
What pizza, i ate the pizza.
@@Bullminator pizza, the food you can craft in palworld with a electric kitchen.
you need an editor to fix your audio
i will pay you to pronounce Jormumtide properly
Nah
Maybe you should spell it right first.
Your breeding base is far from optimised. Different eggs require different heating and the heating has a range. A good breeding farm will have stacked shelves of incubators at different temperatures
Do you any recommendations for this? I want to set something like this up but keeping eggs at the right temp for each type has been challenging.
Think you need to watch and review your videos before posting, bro. Literally every video I've watched of yours has repeat voice overs that you forgot to delete lol
I think he is busy playing the game......fuck the editing.
why has every single youtuber stopped editing out redundant takes? it's like y'all got together and decided to all stop doing it in 2024.
