@@Dante-rn4kkI mean it’s better than gettin rid of all your shields while also preventin you from gainin any at all from tier 4 feats for example.
I really wonder why slippery still exists tbh, this felt like the perfect opportunity to do a rework…
What we have to remember is that usually if they don't touch something on a minor level, it's often has gotten bigger changes later on and they either aren't done or can't figure out the technical side yet.
@@victornguyen1175 yeah. I think the devs wanted to start with the easy and obvious nerfs because most of the feats listed in the nerfs are oppressive in casual matches so these changes are much more healthy for the game now rather than working on underused feats.

Really wish they did the same with other dodge attacks rather then JUST zerk. Less external dodge attack spamming from everyone
Hoping beyond hope they are trying this and monitoring how it affects team fights before they do the same with Orochi and Pirate. Them doing 15 dodge attacks over and over while locked onto someone behind you and you can't do anything about it is very annoying
Zerks Dodge attack nerf doesn't make sense if they weren't gonna do it to at least roach too. Only thing I didn't like.
Orochi just got a skin, and they said Zerk was a test but the real reason is business
Once all the Roach mains buy the skin, they will nerf him 😈
Tier 1:
Nerfs are overal good.
Tier 2:
Juggernaut needed that nerf. Ignored a lot of things and allowed interruptions while outdamaging them
Tier 3:
Afeera feats in the dirt. Ty!
Pugio needed the nerf. I expected it to be a slower, throw but at least something was resolved there.
Fury is reasonable. Damage buff applied to Flask and other damage feats. Offered tankiness and damage at a considerable amount.
Invigorate (I thought it was T4 disengaged heal) is reasonable. Shaolin healed everyone in area, regardless of the attack being countered or not. So it was just spamming Qi stance for heals.
Oath Breaker only removes initial shields. Thank GOD. The revenge ban feat is gone.
Tier 4:
Fire Flask? Reasonable
Spear Storm? Not the best feat but I'd like to survive if I get hit one time. Although targeting is inconsistent.
Feat Itself is a reasonable and minor nerf. It's a mobile doom banner and deleted you against damage buffed enemies
Hero changes P1:
Berserker HP is derserved. May be a HA hero but hes also an Assassin. Spin Chop now isnt as spammable as before.
(After listening) Shinobi is reasonable. No more effortless 0-100 ganks.
Hitokiri didn't need such high damage. Now i think other heroes with 32-34 heavy damage need to be dropped to 29-30.
Hero Changes Pt2:
Removing Afeera's shoving on flips is great.
Centurion changes on guardbreak bashes is so good! Casual friendly.
Pk dodge attack buff being consistent with others is good.
Nuxia nerf on the pin is good. Input comfort after Heavy finisher is good.
Final changes:
Was thinking this was extremely bad but the explanation helped. A fair removal. They were weirdly strong on certain heroes.

T3 Invigorate is Shaolins heal after landing an attack in his stance, the heal out of lock is a tier 4.

As a BP main, I understand the changes. Why change the juggernaut though? People will still refuse to fight someone with juggernaut 1v1, with some exceptions. I also don't see why spear storm is nerfed, especifically since fire flask is better and much more common.

The only thing I see as a problem is it's not going to change people spamming them. For the same reason making dodge attacks into light parries didn't stop dodge attacks spam. An easy way to remove dodge attacks spam would simply be to make it as guard-breakable as it used to be. That said, I feel the only people who would truly complain about these changes and the things that are being done, are people who utilize their feats more than the actual movements of their characters. For instance, I light Parry the fuck out of people constantly in this game and it infuriates so many because they're mad I'm countering their light spam. My simple response is to chuckle because they make it too easy by continuously doing the attack. I don't know, what are your thoughts guys?
oathbreaker can no longer counter tier 4 shield skills like umbral shelter then?
No.
It only counters if you activate before the oathbreaker.
Then they can just press the Feat and you will have no shield. But if you hold your own and gain revenge for example. You'll get revenge's shield no problem and other shields alike after the oathhreaker.
@@wolfeyes6852 I was kinda confused so I used umbral shelter as an example....from my understanding is it does remove the shield but it no longer prevents players from gaining another shield
so by that understanding umbral shelter which triggers a new shield every 3 sec will only have the first shield remove and not the 2nd and 3rd shield since umbral shelter triggers 3x on a 9sec duration

Would be nice to see some buffs rather than just nerfs across the board, but i respect it regardless, its helps avoid power creep. As for specifics, the feat changes are much needed. The guardbreak change is an interesting one, I wonder if the player doing the GB throw still has hyperarmour or is it only the victim that loses armour.
I really want them to remove Punch Through on Conqueror...they mostly have unblockable and bashes, with a zone attack that's very easy to parry
The oathbreaker is now situational. Although I will still go down in a gank but at least i can go down fighting without being helpless. (Yeah I suck at the game but I'm not ashamed of it.)🤷
They forgot to fix their current biggest shitshow.... cool. Back to elden ring i guess.
Truthfully these might be the best patch notes I've seen in a while. All of the nerfs are a step in the right direction, even if I think they could still do a lot more, such as applying the Zerk nerf to Orochi and friends as well. If my only complaint about the contents of a patch notes is that they could have applied it to more feats and heroes then I'd call that a good patch note. Honestly just really happy that this game is still getting this level of support this many years down the line is a pleasant feeling.

Are you referring to the shield that stays after popping revenge the second time? If so, I don't think that's a bug.
@@ricardosithole7208it gives you shield if you had a shield during or before revenge. For example if you received a shield from a black prior, then activated your revenge, when it runs out you will have a full shield. In your case the second revenge gives shield because of vengeful barrier perk. In the first example it does Not have to be the second revenge btw. I don’t think it’s intended to be like this.
Jesus Christ another Shinobi nerf. He already feeds way too much revenge, more than any other player. Revenge feed should be based on damage, not optimal ganking and flawed hitstun mechanics.
Just fucking remove sickle rain and double bash property. They are nerfing the symptom of the problem that is OP ganking and hitstuns.
Shinobi is actually fucking terrible outside of optimal ganking. He has the worst risk reward ratio in the game and the lowest offensive damage per second.
Juggernaut being nerfed? You pop it gives you a slow devuff and when anyone sees you pop it, they just move away until it's gone; why need it?
Pugio might as well be a T2 with how quick it is and how little damage it'll deal.
Fury was good for a T3 but it's still usable.
Invigorate was good imo with 8 heal. You're usually in 4s for feats and getting ganked is always a thing. Why reduce the heal more?
T4's should be high damage, high buffs and high debuffs.
Pugio guarantees a free heavy
Juggernaut was absolutely broken as a tier 2, even though you can run away, but certain times you just couldn't and that was the problem.
Pugio gives you a free heavy, its still usable
Fury is fine still in my opinion
Invigorate was a bit annoying to fight against when getting 1v2 or 1v3 and you can't do anything about the person healing by standing still. I also just never go in the zones to heal when I have it on cause it was good enough.
I feel like spears got absolutely destroyed. I dislike it a lot, but making a fourth feat do 70 to 30 is way to harsh. My only problem was that it was incredibly fast to kill someone compared to the catapult and arrows.
They should bring back thick blood still don’t know why it was removed
It heavily and directly countered certain heroes. Nobushi/Shaman/Peacekeeper
@@midgard9057 it was only on Warden and Nuxia. With low pick rates. Idk if warden is still. And Shaman and Nobushi are still played regularly. Yes it was a heavy counter tho with low hero pick rate, better feats and other viable hero’s to use. It seems to be balanced out. I just don’t understand.

Pick rates doesn't decide if a feat should be able to completely counter an opponents playstyle.
Warden, Pk, Nobushi, and Shaman are often in the game. So idk what you mean
@@midgard9057except it didnt... me and a mate of mine had people bleed to death through it more often than not. Now its just easier. Back then you at least had a chance...now folks are sitting between two shamans and start praying.
@@Soturiel If you're getting "bleed to death through it" it means you are getting hit by bleed back to back. That's no different from just eating a bunch of light attacks.

Or just block and external block? It just sounds like you have no clue what to do against a hero with bleed even though you have many options to counter it.

Honestly I don’t think she’s too bad. A good one really fucks you up. I can’t really judge tho cause I’ve not played against too many to fairly judge.
@@decky9718 its more that her heavies are just objectively worse than every other hero's. Her raw heavies do less damage, but compensate by having the guaranteed pistol shot to equal it. But the pistol shot always feeds more revenge than a heavy.
@@BloodhawkAHSI would argue Jorms are worse then Pirates, at least she gets a bash follow up with good recovery and the total is 25 dam as opposed to 22 from Jorm (top heavy mind you), the only other characters heavies I could think of are PKs but her bleed follow up giver her access to the rest of her kit is a fair trade-off.
Is this Jorms GB heavies? Because these displace, which can lead to insane damage. PK I agree, but I think total damage is still in line when you add bleed damage. The big problem is just the pistol shot feeds tons of revenge in team fights, so you are hurting yourself using it usually.
