Kids In Prison Interviews - Walter's K9 Scare & Adam's Life With a New Cellie (with 2023 updates)

In this video we look back at an interview we did with teenager Walter as he served time in a juvenile prison, and then look back at an interview with teenager Adam and his cellmate as they described life inside an ADULT prison. In Walter's interview he discussed his childhood and all the things that he felt led to his time behind bars.
Meanwhile, Adam was at the start of a long prison sentence when we met him inside a maximum-security adult prison. From inside his cell, he and his cellmate described what life was really like behind bars, what it was like living in an 8x10 cell, and all the things they wished they had done before life on the streets led them to life in prison.

These are such good interviews. It’s heartbreaking how these guys just don’t sound inherently bad, like even if they do rotten things, or stupid things, some kind of intervention at any point almost, would have steered them in a much better direction. And these fucking gangs. They use these kids and ruin any chance they have in life and somehow boys school, juvenile, or whatever just can’t counter act that, but why not?? His friends were killed, how was he not grabbed and helped right then? Was it too late, he was only 14 or 15. I don’t understand the juvenile system. It’s as bad as the adult system.
