This week’s Hymn Time selection is a personal thank-you dedication to my friend Reverend Bill Mercer who has allowed me plenty of space and freedom to present music at Wesley United Church in new ways, which I hope our congregations at home and abroad have been enjoying. His favourite hymn is traditionally sung in the evening and is set to one of the most beautiful melodies I know. I hope you enjoy “The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended."
