Hi Wray. Not sure you see new comments on your 'old' videos, but just wanted to say that I love this review of the Mondnacht Lenormand. Noelle, in the comments below, said, "You give by far the best reviews that I’ve seen". I surely do agree with Noelle. The information you share is concise and so informative. I liked the background info about Patrick Scheller, too. * Just one question about something small I noticed in this deck. The numbers for Man & Lady are opposite to the numbers in the "Maybe Lenormand" deck. In the "Maybe" deck, Gentleman is Card 28, while in the Mondnacht, it is Card 29. And in the "Maybe" deck, Lady is Card 29, while in the Mondnacht, it is Card 28. Does this even matter? Seems like a picky thing to ask, and my intention is not to chastise at all. Just asking if this even matters? * Just love the Mondnacht Lenormand. I saw the deck used by Denise on "Spiritual Growth Tarot" for her 13-May-2021 grand tableau read for "Future of the GOP". Images really took my breath away. * Many sincere thanks for this video.
Hi Nancy, thank you so much for all the positive thoughts and comments on my video of the Mondnacht Lenormand deck. I agree, the images are really beautiful. In my Mondnacht deck, the Gentleman is 28 and the Lady is 29 which matches all the other decks I have in my house. Interesting your copy has the numbers reversed? Well, in any event I'm not a Lenormand expert but all the decks I own (4) are the same including the Mondnacht. I hope that helps in some way. Take care and thank you for the inquiry. Wray
Wow!! I have never read with Lenormand but finally picked up a deck about a month ago and have been trying it out. I am definitely a bit clunky with it, but I am getting the general gist. Not completely sure that it is something for me long term but I am willing to see what place it may have in my ability to do quick reads as "here and now" adjuncts for standard tarot readings. This deck is superb! I absolutely LOVE the imagery. Whilst the meanings of the cards do not change across decks still, as I have found with tarot decks, some imagery will go deeper into my sub/unconscious and be more effective for my own ability to understand connections between them. I am absolutely going to get this deck. Thank you for the share....and I am still eagerly awaiting your deck, my dear!
Hi Lynn: yes, I totally agree with you - the meaning of the Lenormand cards remain very similar but it's the imagery that impacts me ...or doesn't. That's what I really liked about this deck - it's so rich, subdued, but yet vibrant in a crazy way! I love them!! I hope if you get this deck that you enjoy it! That's great to hear you were planning to order the Mondnacht deck. With regard to a good beginner book for Lenormand, I'm not an expert in this modality. My expertise is tarot and astrology. However, I recommend checking DonnaLeigh's channel at Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds. You can also go to Amazon and check out reviews of books before purchasing. They carry a number of beginning Lenormand books. I hope that helps. Good luck! Wray
