Guys can't tackle. That's the problem. Jaden Daniels ran past two defenders right in front of him craziness. This game was lost because of the defense missing tackles.
Eagles tackle better than most teams in the league. Probably the top 3 if not 1. It’s Jayden Daniels. You’re going to give up some. Just can’t make it a habit.

It’s impossible to overstate how refreshing it is when you have a guy like this who actually answers questions honestly. It’s even more refreshing that he authentically acknowledges his role in an undesirable outcome. When he says “I could have done better“, there is not a doubt in my mind he means that sincerely. Whereas when Andy Reid says “I could have done better“, every one with a shred of objectivity can tell he’s completely full of shit. It’s pretty wild how easy it is to tell Vic is telling the truth and Andy is lying despite saying virtually the same words.

The defense is very solid overall but there are weaknesses and Sunday exposed some of them.... for example... Slay is good overall but he is starting to show his age. Late in games he is falling off and getting beat. Blankenship is mediocre in pass coverage overall. Dean is excellent in run coverage and against screen passes but is also mediocre in straight pass coverage. The pass rush is suffering a bit from the loss of Graham.
They played a few. They should have beaten the Steelers and The Ravens only beat them by a touchdown. They are gonna be a problem for us once they add pieces to JD and Luvu
