@@Cat-io9kr the first basic attack will activate the passive (meaning first basic attack is real damage) but succeeding basic attacks will be affected and it only lessens damage by 20%, which is bad since even Brute Force or Antique Cuirass can lessen damage by 35% by pure physical defense

As a mage main, who decided to use Layla for 2 seasons in a row (to troll, been playing the game for 4 years and at this point, the only fun & enjoyment I get is to troll toxic SEA players) and reach Mythic with less than 100 matches, you'll get to use all the mentioned abilities with practice and progress.

Quick tip when using Aldous (I believe General knows it but I don't see him do it): Last hitting a turret using your first skill will give u 10 stacks just like an enemy hero.

I don't get why we auto assume someone is trolling when we see Layla... yes, "in general", Layla is one of the weakest heroes, easy to be killed, but with the recent buff to gold lane, marksmen are now quite useful in a team.
I'm no Layla main fyi, but I think Layla can be quite a good hero when the enemy team lacks the heros that can dive into Layla. Due to her insane attack range, it's not really as easy as some would think. An example of enemy's composition that Layla could be strong against: (Mages) Gord, Lunox, Valir, Yve. (Fighter jungles) Aulus, Bane, Barats, X borg. (Fighters) Lapu-Lapu, Leomord, Phoveus, Ruby, etc. The mentioned heros are all picked regulary and if you can position yourself well, Layla can be very strong against them and is certainly not a troll hero.
Sure she is but many players don’t know how and when to use her. Also she is a late game hero, right now in high elo they don’t even surpass 10 min. :P

Fun fact...if someone in your team use nana, you should glad. All aldous ult will waste once he turn to molina. Make sure u stay with nana and molina. That why my team win late game even enemy use aldous. Its funny he cant use his skill as much as he need it while turn to molina while we all kill him.
