I have never smelled Babycat, but I have Rifaaqat. When I first bought Rifaaqat, I asked myself "What were you thinking?" it was so .......black top smelling. It literally smelled like a newIly layed asphalt (tar mack) road. BUT after about 4 months it became beautiful. I must be in the mood for it to enjoy, I live in Texas and when it is very hot ( 3 seasons of the year) I can't enjoy it. But in the winter.....I rock this Baddie!

I am having this parfume since 4 month now. It's smelled like asfalt in the beginning. I was thinking its a scam, or something wrong with it. But with time it improved gradually. Still I can smell asfalt in the beginning, I wonder why,why would PC do this to a parfume...😂
Oh nooooo. Lol ❤ I am now convinced that either Rifaaqat was reformulated or needs like massive amount of maturation time. Coz mine is so Vanilla heavy. Ok I need to smell it again and again to see what I am detecting as the animalic note. Initial impression was suede/ leather for sure. But I am glad that for you it ultimately settled down. It is 100% fall/ winter for me as well. In summer I might just unalive myself ❤ Oh gosh, I feel bad for everyone who is getting the tarmac vibe. I will mention in this the next time I have Rifaaqat featured ❤

Sim, it's absolutely amazing! I love it so much. It reminds me a little bit of Tom Ford Ebene Fume. Like his Middle Eastern cousin. It's unusual for me to wear the same fragrance for more than a day, I'm a bit mercurial😅, but I'm going to be wearing this everyday for a while, I think. From a US perspective, which is greatly influenced by our western European roots, this would not fit as a traditional "freshie". Which is why I love ME perfumes so much. They are so rich and round.❤❤ I have to run but I'll watch this later. And thank you, my friend, for knowing this would be a good fragrance for me.❤❤❤ All my love and prayers. ❤️

Omg, Sim, now you are going to make me buy Lactea Divina. 😂 I love milky scents and i was waiting for this review since i love Blanche Bete and Her confession. I have received Tariaq Intense today and let me tell you it's a love from the first sniff! The dry down is reminiscent of Khamrah but tone down the cinnamon and add the plum liquor ("slivovica" as we call it in the Balkans). It is definitely more rounded and sophisticated and not that cloying. I even smell some nuttiness in it. I like it so much that i'm going to wear it for Christmas. I love Lattafa Pride Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold ( I got a small bottle as a gift from my favourite perfume shop) and Rifaaqat Paris Corner sounds incredible. I have worn Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold and felt goth and still very feminine so now I wonder about getting Rifaaqat when I see a good price. I am sitting on the fence a touch, perhaps some of the original reviews made me stop, but I also noticed that with some perfumes I adore the saffron note but with others I find it somehow too sharp and to my nose, sometimes even screechy and yet at other times it smells divine just as saffron strands smell so divine and add such a wonderful flavour to dishes . But the way you described it, I would love this. You had Mango Tang and all these amazing flavours ! I only knew the orange and lemon one, this bought back some memories when you talked of Tang ❤😍🤩😘. Taskeen Lactéa Divina Paris Corner , oh, I would love that one for sure, something serene and oh so beautiful. I must go, loads still to do but had to tell you I love this video as always. I am now so tempted with Rifaaqat , but wondering if perhaps Taskeen Lactéa Divina Paris Corner would be a better choice as I have Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold but nothing like Taskeen Lactéa, but then Rifaaqat sounds more like my cup of tea, perhaps, oh not sure. I am sometimes torn when it comes to milky notes as I also had a grandmother who made me drink milk ( which I hated and which made me ill ) and not only milk but she would add melted butter on top which made me at the time even worse. Hey my gorgeous hun ❤ So word of caution. My experience with Rifaaqat has been amazing but the comments section states otherwise. People have been divided in either smelling Tarmac, motherboards, few like me love it and find the suede vanilla combo intoxicating and then there are few who smell nothing animalic at all. So i am super confused. I would recommend trying to get a decant before buying. You are so correct about the saffron. It can go bad real fast if not handled with caution. I feel as though the cheaper synthetic notes might have a shorter shelf life and go bad? Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing lol. Oh yes, till date we have an entire isle full o tang flavors. We were made to chug them as kids claiming they were healthy lol. And now we have the obesity epidemic Hahahaaa. Oh yessss!!! I have a huge gag reflex to milk and realistic milk perfumes. Being lactose intolerant also does not help. But Lactea Divina is milky without the realistic milk. It is more like creamy. But if you have a severe aversion then I would recommend opting for Her Confession instead coz that a super pretty floral with mild lactonic notes. Not gag inducing at all ❤ My Nani used to mix dates, turmeric and sometime raw egg in my milk and force it down my throat. Oh the horror 🤮 Lol! @@SiminShaikh Thank you my lovely angel , I actually felt so cautious about this one as I had a Bvlgari perfume and it had a rubbery tar note, it was many years ago. I was someone not a fan of this interesting scent . I love Jasmin Noir Bvlgari so much , so the other one was a disappointment and I later read that a lot of people did not like the tar asphalt rubber note (I am pretty sure it was Black Bvlgari) so I am glad you told me to try and smell it first. I also realized I do have soooo many perfumes so I will continue my PPP ( Perfume Purchasing Pause ) Oh, no, you poor poor darling, your Nani was not related to my grandmother was she? I had her try the egg one as well, with some nutmeg, which meant I was not a fan of nutmeg for ages. Those memories will never go away. Big big kisses and hugs to you my hun ❤ We have pine tree branches with decorations in the lounge and I swear this scents the whole house with that Christmas note, the scented candles ( one is called Christmas) with festive gorgeous ( nothing fake or too artificial smelling) scent the house ( even when they are just opened and not burning. In the heat I do burn candles very rarely, terrified of bush fires at this time of year so I burn these at this time of year only on evenings and we have such long days at the moment), Pfefferkuchen , gingerbreads , oranges with spices in their skin and so on. I have seen Pushkin try and take out a Christmas tree branch, that was the first time, he ever did this, I think it was the bell on the branch rather then the branch itself although Pushkin adores smelling plants and flowers. Disappointed. I definitely get the coconut and incense. These sharp/dry/bitter notes that I am getting on my skin like to hang out in back of my nose for a little while, if that makes sense. And I bought Lactea Divina although I am not a fan of very milky fragrances. But... The taste changes and it is not bad, and maybe one day I will love it😊
@GlitterBunnyNL I am still on the fence. I got it last week, sprayed a few times and now I am waiting for it to age a bit. However, for me as flowery nuances lover, it has some charm. It is milky, but in a friendly way, mixed with floral notes, sweet but not sickly. Overall, I hope it will work for me. I will check it in a month or two. By the way, I don't like Eclaire. Luckily, I have only a decant of it😏

@SiminShaikh I did, and I do like the combo, I will give it a real wear out to see how it moves on skin and clothes. I am not a fan of Lactea, so now I know how to get started on using it. It's a bit too lactonic for my taste but a good layering tool for smoothing rough edges on fragrances like Rifaqaat and adding a feminine touch. Thank you for the suggestion ☺️ it works well.

Hey my hun ❤ So I absolutely despise Voux Patisserie. To my nose it is very very heady and sickly sweet. Smell of artificial flavor spill inside a Cinnabon store. On the other hand, I love Lactea Divina. It is a milky vanilla but it has layers like florals, nutty/ oats nuance and a little warmth as well. Lol, the choice was easy for me ❤❤❤ Hope this helps hun ❤

Oh how I love Riffaaqat! It's in my top 5 perfumes for life. I have already a backup bottle. :D And compared to Ishq Al Shuyukh in Rifaaqat I can feel three major notes on my skin: vanilla, woody note and saffron, the suede is not there. Ishq was actually too strong for me and with too much leather vibes, which I am not a fan.

Mashrabya smells Turmeric in the drydown I returned it, same as Honor & Glory Lattafa, smells amazing and sweet in the opening but drydown is hideous 🤮
I received Lactea Devina today and i don't like it. All I can smell is spoiled milk with a sharp violet. No tonka, no vanilla,nothing, nothing, nothing. I don't get it. I had to go wash my hand. This haul is an epic fail for me. All 3 perfumes i bought are bad. Mayar Cherry is super cough syrup. Shahoor intense is a coffee bomb and lactea Devina is yucky. Hummm. I have never smelled Babycat, but I have Rifaaqat. When I first bought Rifaaqat, I asked myself "What were you thinking?" it was so .......black top smelling. It literally smelled like a newIly layed asphalt (tar mack) road. BUT after about 4 months it became beautiful. I must be in the mood for it to enjoy, I live in Texas and when it is very hot ( 3 seasons of the year) I can't enjoy it. But in the winter.....I rock this Baddie!

I am having this parfume since 4 month now. It's smelled like asfalt in the beginning. I was thinking its a scam, or something wrong with it. But with time it improved gradually. Still I can smell asfalt in the beginning, I wonder why,why would PC do this to a parfume...😂

I am now convinced that either Rifaaqat was reformulated or needs like massive amount of maturation time. Coz mine is so Vanilla heavy. Ok I need to smell it again and again to see what I am detecting as the animalic note. Initial impression was suede/ leather for sure. But I am glad that for you it ultimately settled down. It is 100% fall/ winter for me as well. In summer I might just unalive myself ❤

Sim, it's absolutely amazing! I love it so much. It reminds me a little bit of Tom Ford Ebene Fume. Like his Middle Eastern cousin. It's unusual for me to wear the same fragrance for more than a day, I'm a bit mercurial😅, but I'm going to be wearing this everyday for a while, I think.
From a US perspective, which is greatly influenced by our western European roots, this would not fit as a traditional "freshie". Which is why I love ME perfumes so much. They are so rich and round.❤❤

Omg, Sim, now you are going to make me buy Lactea Divina. 😂 I love milky scents and i was waiting for this review since i love Blanche Bete and Her confession. I have received Tariaq Intense today and let me tell you it's a love from the first sniff! The dry down is reminiscent of Khamrah but tone down the cinnamon and add the plum liquor ("slivovica" as we call it in the Balkans). It is definitely more rounded and sophisticated and not that cloying. I even smell some nuttiness in it. I like it so much that i'm going to wear it for Christmas. Oh, now I am so tempted. I love Lattafa Pride Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold ( I got a small bottle as a gift from my favourite perfume shop) and Rifaaqat Paris Corner sounds incredible. I have worn Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold and felt goth and still very feminine so now I wonder about getting Rifaaqat when I see a good price. I am sitting on the fence a touch, perhaps some of the original reviews made me stop, but I also noticed that with some perfumes I adore the saffron note but with others I find it somehow too sharp and to my nose, sometimes even screechy and yet at other times it smells divine just as saffron strands smell so divine and add such a wonderful flavour to dishes . But the way you described it, I would love this. You had Mango Tang and all these amazing flavours ! I only knew the orange and lemon one, this bought back some memories when you talked of Tang ❤😍🤩😘. Taskeen Lactéa Divina Paris Corner , oh, I would love that one for sure, something serene and oh so beautiful. I must go, loads still to do but had to tell you I love this video as always. I am now so tempted with Rifaaqat , but wondering if perhaps Taskeen Lactéa Divina Paris Corner would be a better choice as I have Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold but nothing like Taskeen Lactéa, but then Rifaaqat sounds more like my cup of tea, perhaps, oh not sure. I am sometimes torn when it comes to milky notes as I also had a grandmother who made me drink milk ( which I hated and which made me ill ) and not only milk but she would add melted butter on top which made me at the time even worse. I somehow am cautious with some milky notes, but I remember you are as well.

So word of caution. My experience with Rifaaqat has been amazing but the comments section states otherwise. People have been divided in either smelling Tarmac, motherboards, few like me love it and find the suede vanilla combo intoxicating and then there are few who smell nothing animalic at all. So i am super confused. I would recommend trying to get a decant before buying.
You are so correct about the saffron. It can go bad real fast if not handled with caution. I feel as though the cheaper synthetic notes might have a shorter shelf life and go bad? Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing lol.
Oh yes, till date we have an entire isle full o tang flavors. We were made to chug them as kids claiming they were healthy lol. And now we have the obesity epidemic Hahahaaa.
Oh yessss!!! I have a huge gag reflex to milk and realistic milk perfumes. Being lactose intolerant also does not help. But Lactea Divina is milky without the realistic milk. It is more like creamy. But if you have a severe aversion then I would recommend opting for Her Confession instead coz that a super pretty floral with mild lactonic notes. Not gag inducing at all ❤
My Nani used to mix dates, turmeric and sometime raw egg in my milk and force it down my throat. Oh the horror 🤮 Lol!

@@SiminShaikh Thank you my lovely angel , I actually felt so cautious about this one as I had a Bvlgari perfume and it had a rubbery tar note, it was many years ago. I was someone not a fan of this interesting scent . I love Jasmin Noir Bvlgari so much , so the other one was a disappointment and I later read that a lot of people did not like the tar asphalt rubber note (I am pretty sure it was Black Bvlgari) so I am glad you told me to try and smell it first. I also realized I do have soooo many perfumes so I will continue my PPP ( Perfume Purchasing Pause )

We have pine tree branches with decorations in the lounge and I swear this scents the whole house with that Christmas note, the scented candles ( one is called Christmas) with festive gorgeous ( nothing fake or too artificial smelling) scent the house ( even when they are just opened and not burning. In the heat I do burn candles very rarely, terrified of bush fires at this time of year so I burn these at this time of year only on evenings and we have such long days at the moment), Pfefferkuchen , gingerbreads , oranges with spices in their skin and so on.
I have seen Pushkin try and take out a Christmas tree branch, that was the first time, he ever did this, I think it was the bell on the branch rather then the branch itself although Pushkin adores smelling plants and flowers. I recently received Lactea Divina and it smells a bit SHARP and DRY. Disappointed. I definitely get the coconut and incense. These sharp/dry/bitter notes that I am getting on my skin like to hang out in back of my nose for a little while, if that makes sense. Will it smell more sweet, more milky, or just different, if I let it macerate? Thank you so much.

@GlitterBunnyNL I am still on the fence. I got it last week, sprayed a few times and now I am waiting for it to age a bit. However, for me as flowery nuances lover, it has some charm. It is milky, but in a friendly way, mixed with floral notes, sweet but not sickly. Overall, I hope it will work for me. I will check it in a month or two. By the way, I don't like Eclaire. Luckily, I have only a decant of it😏

@SiminShaikh I did, and I do like the combo, I will give it a real wear out to see how it moves on skin and clothes. I am not a fan of Lactea, so now I know how to get started on using it. It's a bit too lactonic for my taste but a good layering tool for smoothing rough edges on fragrances like Rifaqaat and adding a feminine touch. Thank you for the suggestion ☺️ it works well.

So I absolutely despise Voux Patisserie. To my nose it is very very heady and sickly sweet. Smell of artificial flavor spill inside a Cinnabon store.
On the other hand, I love Lactea Divina. It is a milky vanilla but it has layers like florals, nutty/ oats nuance and a little warmth as well.

People are having such drastic opinion on the Rifaaqat. Like mine is suede heavy but very mild. Its such a gourmand suede. I wonder if the formula has been changed.

@@SiminShaikh dear YES you're right , sorry for my ignorance with oriental names, I was speaking of Sheik Shuyuk Luxe, and this one to me it's intoxicating! some reviewers compare it to Shagaf Oud but to me even if the profile scent has similarities this is much more deep and darker😍 the opening is wonderful andthe more it goes to the dry down the more it becomes seducing....I'm sure you will like it🥰and about Art of Arabia III ...if you like unisex fragrances with tobacco that one will be a pure BLISS🤩 thank you for this awesome conversation, I wish to have more of them with you, blessings. The two are very different from each other to compare to be honest. Eclaire smells like toffee and milk and Khair Confection is a candy floral ❤ You might have to choose between which scent profile you like more ❤
Oh how I love Riffaaqat! It's in my top 5 perfumes for life. I have already a backup bottle. :D And compared to Ishq Al Shuyukh in Rifaaqat I can feel three major notes on my skin: vanilla, woody note and saffron, the suede is not there. Ishq was actually too strong for me and with too much leather vibes, which I am not a fan.

Ishq al Shuyukh was way too masculine for most people. Rifaaqat is so much softer and easy to wear.

I am totally with you on Rifaaqat. I could not understand how anyone could like it!! I did get the electrical computer board with burnt wood smell. I never smelled a drop of vanilla. I even wondered if I got a bad batch. Makes me so sad. I liked ishq al shuyukh better but don’t love it either. I have lactea divena on the way but worried I am not going to like it. The milk is scaring me. I probably should have gotten a decant 😩

You are not the only one. If you read through the comments, you might be convinced that Rifaaqat was reformulated. Some smell tarmac, some motherboards, some soft suede/ leather (like myself) and some no animalic notes at all. To me it smells like a cousin of Sehr, in which I also smell a soft suede ❤

I received Lactea Devina today and i don't like it. All I can smell is spoiled milk with a sharp violet. No tonka, no vanilla,nothing, nothing, nothing. I don't get it. I had to go wash my hand. This haul is an epic fail for me. All 3 perfumes i bought are bad. Mayar Cherry is super cough syrup. Shahoor intense is a coffee bomb and lactea Devina is yucky. Hummm. I have to start buying decant so i don't waste my money.
