Todays video covers the complete history of the multiple-mistress herself, Dupli-kate. Dupli=kate is a deceptively powerful character with an incredible super-power. Her ability to create instantaneous copies of herself that all retain her complete conciousness makes her a formidable foe for anyone not bringing an entire army to a battle. @@KakashiTaichou the clones aren’t their own separate individuals, they are all just extensions of her. Think of it as one singular mind shared among multiple bodies. At least that’s what it seems to me.

Nah, as probably know by now, she survived that run in with the Lizard League because she hid a duplicate away just in case something happened to the ones she used in the field. She stays in what I'd call a reserve/semi-retired status for the rest of the series after that, helping out when things get real bad but mostly just living a quiet life with the Immortal outside of those instances. While we can assume that she eventually dies of old age, I think the series doesn't go far enough in the timeline for that to happen.
I agree that your Invincible and The Boys content are the best I have seen. I learn a lot from watching them, like Dupli-Kate having a brother. That reminded me of something. Remember in season one when the Mauler Twins were locked up? In one of the cells, there were multiple people that all looked exactly the same. That was most likely Kate's brother.

It is kinda crazy to me how long immortal has been around and not been with others. Ol Mary Lincoln must have been a real special woman.
So according to the comics immortal was not actually Abraham Lincoln but looked a lot like him. AL was assassinated early then we thought and immortal took over for him during the civil war. This caused Mary to have a mental break because she knew that wasn't her husband but everyone was gaslighting her.
@@bloodpoison13 I was hoping this how wasn’t going to do that. I like the idea that Lincoln was a superhero, however that does make some of the slave comments from Lincoln a bit more weird

Irl Lincoln was an absolute pos. The civil war was also not solely about slavery it was the mistreatment the south received. Abe was a known racist among other things.

Not really. He fumbled Eve but Kate is terrible. She hooked up with her friend’s boyfriend and then she cheated on him with a dude who’s way too old for her. She’s like Amber in a way.
@@kennyobi9871 you're not wrong about kate tbh. But here's the thing, Eve was a certified baddy and he screwed up that shit because of his own issues. Kate just so happened to be that one shit friend who's like "it's what it looks like," when they betray you out of self-preservation. Keep in mind though, in the comics, Kate is more of a plot device than a really fleshed out character. We never really find out what her motives are in the original series so maybe it'll fleshed out later in the TV show.
Kate fell in love with immortal because he was the only other person who knew what it was like to die as often as she did. Rex also didn't treat Kat well. Add to that they weren't even in a serious relationship Rex in truth was a pos at that point but got a lot better
Kate and her brother are the most interesting characters to me

It’s def got a lot of people excited
It's such a shame she hasn't gotten much time to shine in the show. All she's done is be apart of two affairs and of course been in the fights but she's not had a chance to show herself. The character moment they did give her was just waved off by so many viewers who call her a cheater and using her clones death as an excuse. Which is a shame because being able to clone yourself but still feel every clone death is such a haunting thing.
Next to Shrinking Ray, Kate is my second fave side character.

Sure we’ll get a character spotlight episode in between one of the seasons like they did with Atom Eve, AS WELL as an episode dedicated to finding her in the cabin alive as well as having Multi-Paul be the villain of that particular episode when it does come

What's stopping her from making like a million clones? Or using her clones to learn skills more easily
On learning stuff probably brain capacity, which while still super human or top capacity (to move several bodies independently at once) but I doubt her learning capacity can handle several subjects
She does. She has one weight training and that goes to the other clones.
She could be a lot more useful too. Like learn a lot of new abilities and that would allow her clones to use it.
It's wild that she "wastes" her power on superheroing when she could be learning multiple disciplines like medicine or science, either for self enrichment or to better mankind that way.

Watching the show when the Mauler twins first escape, there was a guy in one of the cells with a bunch of copies of himself. I kinda figured that's gotta be Dupli-Kates brother or something, and sure enough.

I feel like they should give duplikate projectiles like a blaster or something. As is, shes strong and primarily fights with melee. But her teamates each are either super strong, or can blow stuff up. Imagine an army of her with blasters, snipers and all manner of weapons.
