It looks like I watched and liked this film previously but didn't comment. That is a genius idea re flushing the lance with a pre prepared jug of water. I was given a pre production sample of a similar product a few years back from a highly regarded Chemist in the industry and told to rinse off immediately but I went into the house for water to rinse my lance and by the time I rinsed the car it had formed a wax like crust that took about a week of daily treatment to remove with wax removers. This was before GT Decon wash was brought to market so it was a long laborious task and a lesson well learned. Read the labels and follow to the letter. With regards the product I liked it but found that its longevity was not the best but on initial application I must have been really impressed as I ordered another bottle and the ceramic shampoo. Suffice to say both bottles are unused and still on the shelf. I think that was when Garage Therapy came to the fore and I used CS, Sigma and QD religiously but have since returned to my true love of waxes (like my Father used but not his washing method of a scabby sponge in a pail of fairy liquid) and Mitchell & King have such an extensive range and are on my doorstep. I will be a happy boy for many years to come unless something new other than graphene turns up. My sources tell me that there maybe something in the pipeline so I eagerly await developments on that front. Another enjoyable watch and will be watching the next installment shortly after catching up on the daily review of my other love my favourite football team as just the tonic is my tar remover of choice and I recently purchased purple rain but as yet have not tried it but my Jag is due a full decon and fresh wax from my stock and it looks today like spring has sprung but it is far too bright to detail and it's the wifes day off so errands to be run. A very simple and easy way to protect your car in winter, I agree with you about the gloss it's a nice touch at the end. Longevity is not it's strong point as I only got around 6 weeks last winter but so easy to reapply. Keep up the good work sir 👍🏻
These types of product are becoming more common with lots of brands adding them which bring me to my biggest gripe with this one. It is BY FAR the most expensive version of a snow foam applied ceramic sealant. The cost makes it a bin’er for me. I know ABD are almost the DFS of the detailing world but even then it isn’t that cheap.
Great video as always. I have to admit that I have a "thing" about perfectly clean & clear glass (car & house) so if I use products like this (Touch-On, We Coat etc.), I apply it via a sprayer so that I can control where it goes: Spray roof, rinse, then work down & round.
I think I'm going to have to give this a try. I'm a huge Gyeon WetCoat fan. I've tried Auto Finesse Aqua Coat since but wasn't as impressed with that for finish or longevity. WetCoat certainly boosts the gloss on my cars so I wouldn't be surprised if this had done on yours. I also rinse with an open hose to sheet as much water as possible off before drying. it's even easier to dry then.
Quite a few people have mentioned Gyeon Wet Cost after this and I know a few other RUclipsrs who've shown it to be very good... I must try it sometime 👍🏼 I like the open hose trick but wanted to show if the trying towel could absorb much! It didn't disappoint lol Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Simon, much appreciated 👍🏼

I'd rather just find out if the product is any good to begin with!
I use it just before and during winter myself just for easier cleaning and then a few times during the year when a waxing isn't needed and find it last about a month maybe a month and a half in winter weather and lasts upto 2 months plus if the weather is good 👍🏻
I'm a big fan of magiseal, bought a bottle when it first came out... I have chopped and changed brands but have returned to this, applying a coat only yesterday, despite having others on the shelf.
Useful tip on cleaning out the snow foam gun after use, cheers. Making my way through polar seal atm with good results. Not as fond of accompanying products on the range.
Never tried it, I love most of Bilt Hamber's products but I have a massive issue with 10 individual sachets of product... Why not put 300ml into a recyclable bottle and let the end user control dilutions.

Good video Mark, not saying it isn't a good product because i haven't used the Magiseal but have used Auto Finesse Lavish Ceramic foam on both our cars. It's identical in usage, dilution & properties and i was very impressed with it and got a good 3 months durability from it. Great to see you back to full health Mark, I thought the last picture you posted, you were going to have a new title "Frostbite Friday" I wouldn't have touched a car in those icy conditions either. As for the product it looked good and easy to apply and as for durability we'll just have for your results. I personally would probably stick to Autoglym Polar Seal, I know it doesn't contain SiO2 but 40ml in 250ml of water and that did the old renault van, now there's plenty to do the superb estate. Like you said to someone else, shop at M&S or Aldi your choice, same for products. Until the next one, take care and well done 👍👍👏👏
Thank you Paul, I was determined to get a video out this week 😊 It's a very good product, easy to apply and remove, certainly has the wow factor afterwards! I reckon I could get away with 80ml to 300ml of water to cover most cars so maybe it's not as expensive as people think lol

Hi Paul, i am also a great fan of Polar Seal in the winter months, if you like value i use this with a old spray bottle with 10ml to 500ml per car, I honestly can not tell the difference from using the recommended 40ml in a lance per vehicle + it lasts as long this way👍
Interesting to see the longevity! I did think it was surprising that they gave dilution for a trigger spray but I suppose that just becomes a kind of make-your-own ceramic QD 😂
I'm intrigued myself .. only been 3 weeks but still beading really well despite the wintery roads .. I'll have to do an update on this one!! And yeah, I don't think I'd be using this in a trigger sprayer but at least the option is there for some 👍🏼👍🏼

I haven't tried it yet no but heard a few good things... So many products to try this year based on recommendations so looks like I'm going to be very busy 🤣🤣 Thanks for commenting, much appreciated as always 👍🏼
I've considered this but using a IK foamer it's not ideal . As someone else commented its the cost of it . If I'm using an AD drying aid that adds a level of protection would getting this be worth the mither ? Not against these products , ideal for winter use , but as I wash n dry it weekly I'm not rushing to get some . Unless it's in a sale and cheaper by far
It's not for everyone... I know they say you can apply it with a trigger applicator but then you still have to rinse it and I don't see the benefit if you don't have access to a hose - the drying aid method you use is probably much more efficient 👍🏼
@@SparkleanAutos with no jet wash I would use that local BP that loves it when I rock up with lots of buckets . Seems if they aren't busy it's OK otherwise I'm not popular . Sadly my crystal balls are in for repair so until I get there I don't know this so fudge em
Happy new year Mark! Not tried this one but do love a lance applied sealant. Have picked myself up an autobrite bundle since seeing how well you’re getting on with them lately 👍🏼
Happy New Year Nick 🙂 (I forgot to say that in the video but, in my defence, I had started editing it nearly 2 weeks ago before I got sick 🤣) Definitely decent products - brands don't get to this size producing snake oil lol 👍🏼
This is yet another amazing review! Flawless editing, and some amazing tips. 👏🏻 I never would have thought of flushing out the snow foam lance afterwards. Definitely something I’m going to be doing from now on! I like the look of that drying towel. By any chance do they come in blue? 🤣
Just watched the companies, video on this product and they said they usually let it dwell for a bit prior to rinsing it off ...... Just out of curiosity do you have a preference for any of these tyoe of products ss there's quite a few on the market .... My only gripe is the 100 mls with 400 mls of water when some products use as litie as 5-50 mls of products n a bottle
That's very interesting that you ask!! I'm currently editing another video on this very product - a 'how to use it properly' rather than just a review of it... But I'll give you a very basic run down - 1. dwelling - very much temperature related... On a cool damp day there's no great urgency, 2-3 minutes is fine but in warmer drier weather, I wouldn't leave it too long. Mind you, it's more of a winter product anyway for me 👍🏼 2. Preference - this genuinely is my preference amongst these types of products, certainly among those I've used. 3. Ratios - I agree, the ratio on the bottle is very high, especially given the cost per 500ml (around £22rrp I believe!)... but... On most cars I only use around a 300ml mixture in my lance, maybe up to 400 for much larger cars/SUVs, and about 10% of that is product... Or to put another way, I use around 30ml per car in most cases 👍🏼
@@SparkleanAutos .... Agree not allowing it to dry out on the car is the critical part , again so many similar products available and most advice to rinse straight off as the product is activated by the water and rinsing so allowing it to dwell adds nothing to it .... The £22 for a 500 ml is about the going price but it will be expensive if that's only 3-5 washed on your car ....Monster Shine based in Glasgow does something similar, it's not to my knowledge SiO2 based though, and uses just 1.5 mls of product ....EZ Car Care Elixir uses 5ml in 500ml for initial use then 2ml for maintenance washes, it's £18 for 100ml .... Even Halfords have gotten in on the act with an advanced ceramic spray sealant and it's around £15 for a bottle .... The availability of these products is great in one way and a nightmare in others with so much to choose from .......
It can be an absolute nightmare - when you're spending £40-50 per litre on a product you want to choose wisely! I can only go with my own experience and, given how many different products I test/review etc., Magiseal is one of the few products that I regularly buy more of! 👍🏼 That's as honest as I can be... And you're absolutely right, dwelling does nothing so why bother taking the risk of a streaky finish!
Hi. Love the video, just came in time because I am gonna do the same job with a miledeep version I got. Looking forward to your upcoming review of that pressure washer. Is it soon? 👌
I'm working on it... I don't just want to use it once and do a review like it's a bottle of shampoo lol it's a big investment for anyone so I want to give as much information as possible to people, good and bad 👍🏼👍🏼 might be another month 👍🏼
I find Autobrite expensive I agree with other people on here. Like at moment Halfords £22 for magiseal and £17 for Autoglym polar seal which I think is better. Then when u start looking at 5 ltrs it over a £100 for magiseal and less than £50 for coat it that a huge difference when u in the trade magiseal is way over priced
It's an interesting point... But as a hobbiest I'm not really looking at prices as much as trade user would be. This series is just intended to be a quick look at a product and deciding if I like it or not .. if I find the price offensively high then I won't be interested, but for someone at home using this, a bottle should easily do 6 months based on what I've seen and £20 for 6 months protection is well within what I would consider reasonable. It's all about perspective I guess but I do appreciate the comments 🙂👍🏼👍🏼
Only problem with magiseal is the price you get the same product from other companys for half the price some have less si02 in it cough cough EZ but others are just the same for a better price
I'm just reviewing products on how they work, what some call expensive, others see as reasonable... That's why some buy their groceries in M&S and some in Aldi 👍🏼

I've only started using Autobrite stuff very recently but I've been really impressed with it, haven't used a disappointing product yet!
🤣🤣🤣
Looks a good product that Mark
😊👍🏼 so far... We'll see what the longevity is like 🤞🏼👍🏼
Happy new year Mark!
Not tried this one but do love a lance applied sealant.
Have picked myself up an autobrite bundle since seeing how well you’re getting on with them lately 👍🏼
Happy New Year Nick 🙂 (I forgot to say that in the video but, in my defence, I had started editing it nearly 2 weeks ago before I got sick 🤣)
Definitely decent products - brands don't get to this size producing snake oil lol 👍🏼
@@SparkleanAutos btw AD are a white label brand someone makes there products could be carchem ect
What make of pressure washer are you using in this video
That was the Ava P80 👍🏼
This is yet another amazing review! Flawless editing, and some amazing tips. 👏🏻 I never would have thought of flushing out the snow foam lance afterwards. Definitely something I’m going to be doing from now on! I like the look of that drying towel. By any chance do they come in blue? 🤣
🤣🤣 well pink isn't my colour either but my daughter was very impressed lol
Glad my wee tips come across as useful 🙂
Thank you for the kind words 🙂👍🏼
Excellent video as always buddy
Thank you Mate ☺️👍🏼
How do you think it does compare with Gyeon Wet or other spray rinse off products?
I'll let you know in a few weeks but in terms of application, they don't come any easier 👌🏼
But I'll give you a very basic run down -
1. dwelling - very much temperature related... On a cool damp day there's no great urgency, 2-3 minutes is fine but in warmer drier weather, I wouldn't leave it too long. Mind you, it's more of a winter product anyway for me 👍🏼
Damn out comes the wallet.😂😂 Happy New Year Mark.
😬😬🤣🤣 sorreeeeee lol
Happy New Year 🥳

Sounds very sensible, I will keep my eyes peeled 👀. Cheers - John
🙂 cheers John lol appreciate the support!
Awww got it
👌🏼 yip - P80 Master 👍🏼
Hi wat pressure washer is that is it a ava
I've just seen your next message 👍🏼
That auto bright looks great i have the car chem ceramic suds at moment does a great job.Thinking of getting the p60 ava large bundle 🤔 first I've heard of the ava brand tho there warranty is quite good 10 years 😀
I've only started using Autobrite stuff very recently but I've been really impressed with it, haven't used a disappointing product yet!
As for the Ava warranty, It's actually 20 years on some of the larger machines (P60 included I think)!! Provided you service it once every 5 years - which you can do at home with instructions available from the brand lol
Haven't used any myself tho I shall have look them up im using ez at moment there not to bad are your in northern Ireland
I am indeed Lee, yourself??
