Lovely video as always. The flankers use ccrp when you are too high to see the impact point on the hud. So it’s not limited to ccrp but with the manpads about I wouldn’t risk it anyways. A solution could also be to use the really big dumb rockets for more range. Wish we had a flanker with smarter systems tho
ill be honest, 4 kills for 12 bombs is way better than i expected from trying to use the flanker in stand off distances, perhaps ill have to try it one day, i usually run s-24s personally.
You were very lucky this time, both the Tomcat and the Hornet made serious mistakes by getting close, they could have stayed out of your (shxtty) weapons envelope and go for spAMRAAM shots... Nice flying.
@@daniel-wq1gw it’s called CCRP and basically you designate a point on the ground and the computer tells you when to drop. But if you mean just for the flanker you just but the reticle on your target and hold weapon realise, you are then given a new reticle to line up with and a tone plays when it’s 1 second away from release

@@baglad yachts had higher priority for russian MoD, they even cannceled su25T after small series as targeting system was too expensive
