It feels and sounds far above its price. Give it a few months of good play, and I'd say you'll be happy with it, and others who play along with you will be surprised by it!
Yes I am....I believe it's good guitar for the money, and can compete very well with other brands. It should be a great guitar after a few years of play!
@fronthorse not many cons for me: 1. No hard she'll case (gig bag is not my preferred) 2. Set up with light strings (I use Mediums) Pros: price, quality, sound, handmade, loud, list goes on and on!
The main differences are: 1. quilted sapele back and sides (looks nice, maybe a little more expensive); 2. Truetone gloss finish (very similar to Bourgeois finish - or the same as Bourgeois finish); 3. Perhaps the main difference is that it has a torified top (baked) I will eventually post a comparison video between the E1D and the Special. For me...I prefer a gloss, polished finish...I also feel the finish is like an eq of sorts....tones down some of the harshness you can get from the trebles. Maybe...maybe not, but just something I tend to hear when comparing satin vs gloss finishes. Also, baking the top will change the tone a bit as well. Differences are not super dramatic but are noticeable. Both versions are good, and really comes down to what you like.
Lovely guitar and nice playing, I've just ordered one!

Hi Steve, a great sounding guitar, brother man 👍🏻
Thanks Randy....planning to do a more detailed review and some comparisons with it....might be a while but I will get to it, eventually. 🤓
Nice! I am going to check some Eastmans out this week. What strings are you using for this video? Tone is wonderful!
Daddario xs Mediums
Hello, are you still satisfied with it? I'm just about to grab one too.
