It's true that he wants to go to korea to be a trainee but his parents opposed it. But he still pursue his dream of being an idol so he audition in several company in china and then he got into banana ent. So pls guys stop spreading that he trained in jyp because its not true at all and he didn't confirmed it. And the reason why he knows to speak korean is because he learned it from his korean friend. He said it himself in one of his interviews.
As far as I know, he has never been to JYP. Because he needed to return to Taiwan for military service, he only stayed in Korea for a few months. Evanlin graduated from language school. His voice talent should be good.
