I was there- magnificent and very powerful concert! Met Nic Potter and Guy Evans between soundcheck and concert....I´m a big fan of VdGG and Peter Hammill
Excellent.. Peter Hammill always feels like he's on the edge of things, like he's about to lose it but then somehow he lands on his feet and everything seems to work...
The short lived K group was a great moment in Hammill's and the other band members careers. Ballsy and tight. Nic Potter and Guy Evans are an orchestra of a rhythm section. Also, even though live pH always seems like he's struggling with his instruments he rarely errs. Amazing.
I know that's John Ellis with him on guitar and the drummer looks like Guy and, yikes, that looks like Nic Potter on bass. I like how Hammill had this close/tight little band of VDGG people he played with almost always. And Ellis was a good choice because of the punk thing.
Sitting Targets - what a fantastic album!
Classic---the spirit survives------it gives pleasure and joy
Criminally underrated! Always has been in a league of his own.

Well said.
this song is so great. the new wave, post-punkish feel works really well with Hammill's style of songwriting.
Wonderful ! Heard him about this time at the old 9:30 club on F Street in Washington D.C. Amazing !!! Loved it 😊
meraviglioso concerto . il k group ,un momento magico della carriera di Peter Hammill
versione stratosferica!
We miss you Nick.

One of my favorite Hammill tracks...it’s a lot more intense here than on the album.
Margin is very simmilar.
@@soundchaser1097 Margin has too many Simmon drums. Here Guy rarely used them.
❤❤❤❤❤
Punk done right
Good drummer !
So tight and solid rhythm, I'll bet it is Guy.
@@williampinson1125 Of course he is Guy Evans.

The core of this band backed Hendrix at The Royal Albert Hall 12 years earlier
