- This is a recording from a very powerful night in Los Angeles. During the Merge Summit 2011 I had the opportunity to see and hear Mali Music, not only sing, but speak...and express his soul in a way that could only be described as genuine. Having witnessed such genius, which is no hyperbole when said of Mali, I myself had been blessed in having the opportunity to experience the captivation of his spirit...a spirit with sound and life that seemed to reflect God. This video of Walk on Water was just a small portion of the divine awesomeness that took place that August night... and I personally testified that there was a connection that stemmed further than speaker. lens, and flesh...

Watched this years ago and this is 2020, and I'm falling in love with Mali all over again. Not like I ever stopped. There's so many things I want to say to him, ask him. I admire how he is self-aware and conscious of the world. How he doesn't limit his music, limit himself. It's like the world is moving through him. It's important to sing about everything. It's a full life.

This is sooo great. I have been saved and serving Jesus exclusively for 11 years. I have always loved music. In high school I used to buy 3 new CDs a week. This is the first Christian artist that I have found that gives me that good music feeling. I enjoy contemporary christian, praise & worship, gospel, and some gospel rap. It all has it's place. But I have kind of lost that passion because a lack of creativity in the Christian music market. I have been getting it back listening to Mali Music.
