21:31 that looks absolutely delicious! I will definitely give these a try. I don’t have a cook stove but I’m going to make them on my regular stove. But, if I ever remodel my house…I have the perfect space for a cook stove! Great video Lori!
I highly recommend them, love mine for winter.
Wow looks delicious 🤤
Also I'd love the foccacia recipe too. I could not find it on your instagram.
Its in this video on my channel! ruclips.net/video/w4J0Bmmr5G4/видео.htmlsi=gBHRjpXy0W55clHk
Enjoy!
Thank you. I don’t know why I missed it the first time :(
I'd really appreciate if you have any tips on firing for baking. We have really struggled with firing and baking using our Rosa XXL LaNordica stove. We purchased in Canada.
Firing? Do you mean making a fire? Or making it too hot?
Making a fire- i can make a video on that if you need but basically you just pile thin kindling sticks, that are dry seasoned and make a Teepee stack of sorts, adding news paper under the pile helps and light it.
Over firing? If thats what you mean- making it too hot? That depends on the type of wood. How dry it is & how much you use at once and if your dampers are open. Closing dampers makes it cooler. Hope this helps!
I’m struggling with baking in the oven. It will be a good temp then drops before things are finished baking or burns. The instructions in the RosaXXL manual are hard to understand and very little
one more thing Lori, what sort of wood you burn and how much does it cost you?
Love your profile pic. We burn any hard wood we can get or cut on our own property. We have lots of trees needing cut so we have done that.
Do you know how big of a heat pad fro my Pac-Man frog should be it’s a baby and in a 20 gal tank please respond as fast as you can
A 10gallon size on the side would be ok i think.
What happend the the 2 gallon snail tank 😢
I still have them! Land snails
I love your videos Lori ❤😁
What happened to lemon?
I did a update on her months ago ❤ she passed at 5yrs
😢
Was watching your vid because of the Nordica, but when I saw you using Knorr MSG seasoning. I used that stuff for 7 years and it destroyed my nerves. That's what MSG does besides make even shoe leather soup taste good. Please use a bullion that doesn't have MSG or any of it's derivatives. I suffer with so much pain in my feet and some nights can barely get any sleep because of the neuropathy the Knorr product caused. I've had to change my diet drastically to avoid anything that disturbs my nerves, things like sugar, and flour are top of the list no, no's. I wouldn't wish this suffering on nobody. Neuropathy is what causes people to have their feet amputated. I'm trying to avoid that. Hope you heed my warning and tell others.
Omg i didnt realize. I will start using cubes!
@@LorisHartland Glad you got my comment. I now use the organic versions of Better Than Bullion that comes in a jar and can be purchased at Walmart and most grocery stores.
That looks amazing very yummy 😊
Hi Lori, really great stuff. I had a question, I'm in Australia and I'm thinking to get a stove and I'm split between Esse Ironheart and Godan Promes which is French and looks very like yours. Any advice?
Thats so hard!! I dont know anything about the Godin, but i looked it up and it does look like mine!!! Love it! When researching what stove i wanted i looked at several things.
How many BTU or how much heat output.
I knew i would he cooking a LOT with mine so i wanted good cooking space and oven.
And overall look of the stove.
Homewood companion was my #1 dream but they are in NZ and hard to get in the US
MY SECOND choice was between esse and lanordica. I ended up choosing lanordica and im glad i did! I actually dont like the burner covers the esse has and i love the glass oven door. Also the esse is more expensive. I personally love my labordica and would get it again. But still love and adore the Homewood i can never have lol.
How much price this stove
$3700 USD at the time.
Wow that looks delicious! Only one problem though... you forgot to make me a plate. 🤤
Loved this video. Looks delicious! Lori, I’m game for more cooking videos! 😊 Don’t suppose you can share where you picked up the soup bowl and plate?
The soup bowls are off amazon!!! Saw them at an Indian restaurant and loved them! And the plates are actually his grandmothers pattern that patrick loved and so i hunted them down for him bc shes still living and uses her set to this day lol they are Vintage Vernonware plates!❤
