I think you forgot that in gorilla tag you can make it so you only speak monkey, this means we actually are speaking English due to the fact that we cannot understand them if they are speaking monkey, but we can when they’re speaking normally. The reason I’m saying this is because if we were gorillas and we spoke monkey, we would always understand each other, but when other monkeys are speaking monkeys, we don’t understand them like they do when they’re speaking “human languages” (I’ve said monkey way too many times here)

Note: you could just get the saltwater from beach and hold it over the campfire, better way to get water than getting it in a bucket, some one COULD knock down your bucket in both methods, but the beach method is far more practical and faster.

Water in caves is usually fresh, also the water is flowing which means it is mostly clean.
