@@jeanniebergdahl1901 I love when my grandkids take an interest in crafts, too. I’ve taught all six of mine, boys and girls, to sew. I’ve taught one to also xstitch, crochet, and weave a rug. She is very interested in crafts.
Thank you for answering our turtle questions. Some of my favorite summer memories were collecting tadpoles with my dad and watching them mature. loved watching the until we thought putting crayfish in the same container was a good idea (we were kids, what did we know). Frogs disappeared but the crayfish looked happy.
Another enjoyable video! So nice to meet Jeannie's grandaughter, and see her pretty stitching and lovely quilt. I love all of your projects and the travel stories. Thanks for sharing all the fun with us! 😊 ❤❤
Thanks again for sharing everything ❤ your favorite granddaughter is adorable! I’m always so happy to see young people interested in any kind of needle work. I hope she sticks with it. These are memories she’ll carry forever 🥰 Great turtle tidbits

I did my Maggie Mae in Blue ( Blue Corn coat and Dove dress) and Lancaster Red shoes.....really love it. Your childhood sounds a little like mine. I grew up in a country town where my Dad worked as a linesman for the telephone company. He was forever bringing home birds, owls, lizards, echidna, turtles, even a joey kangaroo, that had been injured or the nest ( in the case of birds) knocked down. We nursed them back to health, most of the time, then he'd release them back where he found them. Baby birds we raised and kept in a large aviary when old enough. I also had a half water tank that I kept a collection of frogs.
Wow, Lisa! Your Dad sounds like mine! I learned alot from him! We had lots of stray animals in our house, too. Lots of cats and dogs, squirrels, turtles, even a ground hog! Thanks for the blue colors for Maggie Mae! I will give them a try!
Jeannie, Thank you so much for demonstrating that know for silk thread (and others apparently). LeAnn, It was so nice to see your granddaughter. I see family resemblance. Happy stitching. Best, K
