    Bondowe est une jeune femme célibataire et divorcée. Bien sûr, elle cherche un homme. Cette chanson est l'histoire de sa vie. C'est aussi un grand succès de l'année 1975, écrit par Freddy MAYAULA, un ancien footballeur de l'ancienne équipe de football du Zaïre (maintenant République Démocratique du Congo) et dirigé par le grand maître Franco d'Ok Jazz

      Rotich Kibet vraiment je ne savais pas que cette chanson était écrite par Frédéric Mayawula mayoni !!! Vraiment ce gars était très fort en écriture des chansons, malheureusement on ne parle pas trop de ce génie de la Rumba rdc en plus il fut un grand footballeur..... quel talent !!! Tristement il nous a quitté très tôt.... que son âme repose vraiment en paix ✌️, il fut un grand de notre pays.

      Chris Amuri arrête de rêver la RDC ou Zaïre n’a jamais été une puissance en Afrique, un bon pays avant oui et non une puissance

    • @mosiahbarnasha8782
      @mosiahbarnasha8782 2 года назад +4

      @@yakiprince Tout depend de ce que tu entends par "puissance". Chris a raison s'il faut considerer le Congo de l'epoque comme la puissance africaine selon les standards du continent. Sur le plan culturel and artistique, rien a discuter. Juste les commentaires des Africains (du nord au sud, et de l'est a l'ouest) sur cette chanson en sont la preuve. Sur le plan politique aussi: dans les annees 1970, la RDC fut un pays uni, stable, ecoute et respecte dans le concert des nations; le plus rempart contre l'expansion du communisme en Afrique, et detenant des ressources strategiques (uranium, par exemple) a cause desquelles l'Occident ne devait que faire les yeux doux a la nation afin d'eviter qu'elle bascule dans le bloc du Pacte de Varsovie; et l'unique pays en Afrique auquel Louis Armstrong et ses companions astronautes, qui eurent l'honneur d'etre les premiers a fouler la lune, vinrent rendre compte de leur experience lunaire en 1971. Sur le plan sportif, rien a discuter: deux fois champion d'Afrique de football (1968 et 1974) et l'organisation des Jeux zairois a l'issue desquels les athletes furent bien honores (1972-1973-1974), le combat de boxe du siecle opposant Muhammad Ali a George Foreman en 1974. Toutefois, c'est sur le plan economique que tu as raison: 1975 enregistra le revirement a 180 degres de l'economie zairoise (de la prosperite a la decadence) a la suite de chute libre du prix du cuivre sur le marche mondial, de la crise petroliere et de la guerre civile d'Angola. Non pas parce que le president Mobutu manquait de volonte politique mais plutot parce qu'il etait nul en economie et les experts europeens l'avaient trompe: focaliser les investissements sur le cuivre (au lieu de diversifier l'economie, par exemple en developpant aussi l'agriculture) avec l'assurance aveugle que le prix de ce minerai demeurera haut, et donc etre sur qu'en 1980 le pays accederait au club des nations riches -- le fameux "objectif 1980".

    These are times when music was music and not we hear today.This was from deep down their hearts and one can feel it though most of us do not understand what the song says.
    The current crop of Singers,(cos to me they are not musicians) are in it for fame and not to entertain. This kind of music lives on forever.

    Bondowe is a single and divorced young woman. Of course she is looking for a man.This song is one's life story. It is also a great success of 1975 year, written by a former soccer player of former Zaire' soccer team (now Democratic Republic of Congo), Freddy MAYAULA and directed by the great master Franco of Ok Jazz . A lyric song. ErnestTchitembo from New York.

      I was 10 when I heard this song at the radio in Conakry/Guinea. I immediately fell in love with it! Fast forward 1979 in Bonn/Germany in boarding school I met a classmate from Zaire who taught me the lyrics but I never, ever heard the song from 1975 until few days when I told to myself see if you can find CHÉRIE BONDOWÉ on RUclips! I was so excited to listen to this loved song but 2 min into the song I BROKE DOWN AND CRIED BETTER SWEET TEARS; I was overwhelmed with joy, happiness, nostalgia, sadness, everything at once! Then, I listened to Mamou, Mario, Mazé, back to Chérie BONDOWÉ ❤️

      I was born and lived till the age of 17 at the time and full of energy but my life in Tanzania was cut short had to leave for my original parents country which was somewhat difficult to listen the east african radio channels at the time on short waves until the internet came around and we covered lost time on RUclips etc.
      We all have good memories as we have lived and tasted the events...this piece is so sentimental so much to me!

    I will never forget seeing both the games, as a kid, with my very own eyes featuring Freddy Mayaula Mayoni with Congo-Kinshasa national team playing against the Kenya national team at Nairobi City in 1968. The tall and very powerfully built speedy winger mesmerized the Kenyan crowd during their two game exhibition. The Congolese team stopped over in Nairobi from Addis Ababa where they had just been crowned as champions of Africa Cup of Nations tournament after beating Ghana 1-0 in the final.

    La meilleure RUMBA congolaise est celle des années 50 à 80....il n'y en aura plus cette belle mélodie avec de la poésie. La dite nouvelle RUMBA est plutôt COMMERCIALE avec des ridicules DÉDICACES. Enfim!
