Do the center caps really come of that easily with duct tape? On my Peugeot 407 (stock rim) you can't get out the center caps that easily. You have to remove the tire and push them out from the back side. I'm thinking about getting these caps for my Model 3, but I need them easily removable so I can put on the Aero hubcaps for long distance travel (10% extra mileage baby!).
Yeah, well, none of the videos I watched work on removing center caps. You will have to purchase center caps and lugnut covers from Tesla if you want center caps in your hubcaps. VERY STUPID. This really pissed me off. F Tesla and F anyone saying you can reuse your center caps. NO, YOU CAN NOT!

Great video! Worked for me. I did clean the duct tape residue with Xylol after pulling the cap.I love "hacks" like this!

There are tweezer-looking tools for that purpose too.
This didn't work for me, I had to use a suction cup.
