tried the water/glycerin mix a couple of times now with different ratios and what I've learned is, that if Glycerin is the bigger part of the mix the bubbles will stay strong for a couple of days. Over time dust will stick to them and they'll lose their clarity. But it's still a sticky thing, the bubbles won't dry out. So there's the problem, having something permanent that can be touched would be great...
Is "pan head" just another name for a beauty dish? As for the comment saying its a boring shot, I think he means a boring subject. To me that's where real skill lies, taking what, on the face of it, looks like a boring subject and making it into a photo that makes people want to buy that subject. Pretty amazing if you ask me.
What difference does it make? Iso 100, iso 800, iso 3200, f4, f8, f16... seriously, it makes no difference whatsoever. Look at the image and analyze it.
I can't get over how great of a shot this is. The knowledge this guy has paired with the gear just makes for an incredible image.
WOW! Now I finally understand the secret of photography! Its all about the right beer pump!
This is the true art of product photography.
Looks good.
Excellent Really enjoyed the info Rob gives about how he captured his hero shot.
I love that studio!
You could use any any camera and light with the right settings. Use paper sheets or bounce the light off walls to make softboxes
Love those shots!
wow..this is very high end, complicated product photography.
that's nice, I'm gonna try this at home right now..............
Thanks for sharing a few tricks of the trade, that makes you an even greater photograph in my book!
Nice work Rob!
Really thought of every detail. amazing.
what a great video, very informative. I got to shoot some beer now.
Is there an affordable way to do a similar look? This whole setup cost as much as my house!
Thanks for the great video!
thank you, great video.
They are beauty dishes.
Well I certainly had my beer googles on for that tutorial!
What I want to know is, what is that condensation on the bottles? Did you spray water on them, is it sprayed oil, or actual condensation?
Ooh, nice. Thanks!
Tony Roslund
is there a way to make it permanent?
Thanks, that should do it..
you can make the bottle look frosted with surf wax and then spray it with glycerine

Camera settings would've been nice as well. Good stuff.

The Broncolor Strip Light, wow, but are there any other "more affordable" companies making a Strip Light similar to it?
Almost every lighting company makes strip soft boxes or actual strip lights.
Awesome video guys. Great work!!
Why use a beer pump when you can use a straw? ;)
Anyone know more about what those "PanHeads" are?
Shooting a little bird with bazooka
And sip it up :P
Nice work but a but oversaturated for me.. looks fake
Mmmmmm.....
I hope they just didn't dump out a great saison, that would be blasphemy
Thank God he had a beer pump. Otherwise he would be screwed.. What a boring shot
