It really is great seeing them out working in an adventure together again! They work well together. I’d like to see Doug getting in on some of these little adventure trips with the guys though.
Josh Cantu. Business owner, videographer, Lifeguard, certified scuba diver, experience in water search and recovery using sonar, experience in snow rescue, experience in winter fire starting and most importantly husband and father. Nice job Josh! I’m shocked he left his wife! Please give us a update on Sequoia.
I'm shocked he didn't have a tow rope but had a gun. Maybe he planned on shooting the snow out of the way.. Also shocked his partner must have had arm problems so she couldn't help push the snowmobile.
I kept listening for a well-deserved thank you. You were more than generous. Thank you, on those people’s behalf, Josh. You are one of the few angels on earth.
@@debkunkel5840 I’m mostly talking about the guy. At 23:35, he absolutely should’ve said it then (and several other times). It was glaringly absent at that moment after Josh said he was happy to help them.
He does say it at 23:58. Plus, there are tons of edits where he may have said it also. They apparently had a conversation about living in Sacramento that we didn't hear either.
Your a hero Josh as dropped everything for a live rescue and now you know whats needed to work in snow , numb toes when wet and lucky it was only for a short time. Excellent teamwork and frozen and a good hot meal at the end with drinks. Bless you all for doing the right thing.
Great job! I feel that if people are going to go and use the backcountry they should know how to get themselves out of a bind also. There’s no reason that that lady couldn’t have been digging herself out that whole time she was there. I’ve dug myself out, rolled sled over etc numerous times to get unstuck. If you’re going out to play in the snow, you will eventually get stuck. Know your machine, it’s limitations, pack the right gear and know how to use it all.
🦋 I feel you need to be careful when you go off with a stranger because when they start dictating how the rescue goes it may put you in danger. And I get you weren’t by yourself your guys were waiting there to make sure you return safely. But when you were out there with him you were on your own you did not have a way out of there. And there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that if there had been room everyone of you would’ve went with Josh. Thanks for Always being willing to help other people you guys are the best.
Katherine. They are “ bonded brothers”. Many times “bonded brothers”, who have gone through things together, are closer than siblings. These guys are so awesome. ♥️
When I was a kid we had an adventure group. The leader, an adult, started a campfire. It didn't grow fast enough for him. So he squirted more lighter fluid on it. The fire went poof and the flames traveled up the line of fluid coming out of the can, the can then blew up. Covering the leader with flames and he had 3rd and 4th degree burns all over his body and almost died. Was many years for his recovery. This IS a true story, no bs. Please do not squirt that flammable fluid on to a fire that is already lit.. It only takes once. Please stay safe. Please. God's blessings to you all. Love you guys.😁
well done. You guys are always where you are meant to be, whether its Rescue or Recovery. Am glad it turned out well as lesson is learnt to have all the right gear for the snow, as you never know what a short hike will turn into.
Sorel used to make a great snow boot, still have my original pair I bought for dog sledding 20+ years ago. Today's Sorels suck, hard to find a well made snow boot that you can hike in. Glad you were there to help them out, maybe you should volunteer for the local SAR group. 😁
Josh, you are a true hero to help complete strangers! Granted Search and Rescue showed up, but, thanks to you, everyone got back before dark! Kudos to all you guys!
What an adventure!!! It's great that you were able to help the couple get the sled out!!! I'm from Iowa and love the snow, not so much the bitter cold. My toes are always the first to freeze. You definitely need to invest in warmer boots and quality socks (moister wicking). You guys are so entertaining to watch!!! When you go buy your boots/socks, please take Carson with you. He needs them, too!!! 😁
Wow, Josh! You're always so eager to help. I believe you get what you give in this life. You always give, and people see that. Good things are going to come your way. Much love to you and the guys, and always to you and the family.
Love seeing you guys together. Josh, glad you were able to help those folks and learned a great lesson for yourself about the importance of proper footwear!! If you have frozen feet and can't walk you are totally helpless. So glad you made it out ok!!
This was definitely an adventure! Great to see that the rescue team was so geared up and ready! Very nice. So when is the state going to give you guys the hero award for always being there for others? Great job with the lighter fluid Nick! Glad you four are doing all this together!
You 4 are EPIC! Cold with wet feet ready hike back to warmth and you all jump in to do whatever needs done to help some out. HUMAN KIND AT ITS FINEST❤ Always being human and kind EPIC❤️🔥 Bright Blessings
Dang it. I was hoping that they would have shown up at the restaurant to buy dinner for y'all. Thankful that everyone made it out okay. Seemed kinda iffy there for a bit. Great video. Exciting!
Josh, this one was a “nail biter!” I am so happy everything turned out okay and that your feet are “warm” again! Blessed day to you and all the guys involved! 🙏❤️🔥🤗
Wow!!! Talk about being at the right place at the right time to help. Adventure turned into rescue. Great job Josh. Now go get some better boots before the next snow adventure. Same goes for your buddies. JORDANS in the snow, is a no no. Glad to see it all worked out and lessons learned by all.
Wow! What an adventure that was to take with you and the guys. Memories are forever, and you guys make sooo many. Those S&R folks had great helmets, and loved that go pro that one had on top of his/hers. But Josh, we want the Paul Harvey "rest of the story" of your feed up against the heater in the car, and at the brewery telling tales! Congrats on helping others.
A great service you have provided here for folks about wearing proper gear. Not much is quite as frightening as being in the snow far from the trailhead with freezing hands and feet. Once again guys, a stellar video.
All 4 of you are hero’s! Keep having fun and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. You were at the right place right time, helped out some people, made a really cool video, had a great adventure, ate good food, kept great company, expanded your circle, hopefully got your names out some more and at the same time made your media followers happy and entertained! Now that’s a great days work! Thank you all for being so selfless and ready to help a fellow human out! You are appreciated, many prayers and much love.
Great work guys! Good seeing y’all back in action for sure; like a well oiled machine. As a former long time snowmobiler, in my younger years, those folks didn’t seem to know what the heck they were doing! They had absolutely no friggin’ business way up there just the 2 of them. Those folks need to be riding on trails with a group…preferably with folks more experienced, and with more common sense. Had it not been for the boys out on a day trip making an adventure video, I don’t think the outcome would have been so good for those two in all honesty. He was more concern about the sled, and someone making off with it if he left it up there overnight, than he had for their own lives. They didn’t appear to have any camping gear, yet he was pretty adamant about staying there with the sled. Granted those were expensive machines, but if you’re going to spend that kind of money on your hobby, then put some money into safety gear, and gee, how about the snowmobiler’s safety course?? Quite a few people turned out to rescue them in this situation. Josh did the critical thinking and planning to save the sled & their butts. Perhaps they thanked Josh profusely in the edited out parts of the video. At least I hope so, and I hope they showed up to buy his dinner, but I have a feeling they didn’t. Just a gut feeling.
Ha never a dull moment. Even though you had never ridden, it seemed your logic was on point. Not sure why Brenda wasn't packing snow with you?! Many hands make light work. Before that adventure I was waiting for Carsons Jordans to start melting🤣. Maybe you all can find your way to Florida? No shoes or socks needed 😉
Incredible guys always willing to help others in need as it should always be right, this shows what incredible guys you all are and always there willing to help others hope you warmed up ok josh massive respect to you all for helping this couple get back to safety take care and get some good boots buddy it defo looked freezing out there 👍👌❤️
Josh, this was absolutely an amazing adventure. All the guys together that I love to see, in the wilderness, saving a lady in distress. What an ending to a great day.
You have a heart of gold, Josh. Not many people would go to such lengths to help someone else, especially with frozen toes. Blessings to you all. Cool to see you guys together.
Josh you are amazing. All of you guys. You have an adventure every where you go. Thanks for taking us along. God Bless you all and stay safe. Love from Delaware
Awesome video Josh. Riding snowmobiles is a blast. I used to ride when I was much younger now I can't stand the cold lolol. Getting old sucks. Pls b careful with the cold extremities. U need a ski mask to go with the new boots. Stay safe
Good morning Josh, Devon, Carson and Nick. Great video except the liquid fire starter Nick. With that stuff you need to make sure you are a bit back from main fire for it doesn't come back up the liquid and start you on fire. I have had my hand severely burnt to muscle and bone due to butane liquid so when anyone starts a fire with any form of gas I cringe. Helping those people out was fantastic you were all at the right place at the right time. Snowmobiling can be a great past time but you do have to be prepared for mishaps, getting stuck running out of fuel, getting lost. He looked like he was prepared for most things but always have a tow rope. We used to snowmobile from the farm to a little town about 10 miles as the crow flies and if visiting coming back at night we stuck more to the roads that fields just to be on the safe side. You can't always tell where dugouts were or culverts. Glad everything turned out great for all involved. See you on the next one.
Love when you guys get together on your adventures. Your so much fun too watch. And there’s a twist in the story. Good one Josh. Hello to the rest of your friends. Love your videos 💕
Awesome adventure and glad you were able to help! As a previous AK dog musher, I found that military “bunny boots” are the best for cold weather adventures.. Cold feet are not fun!
*Josh, you're unbelievably amazing!! You ALL are!!* You have such a kind, generous and helpful heart!! And I was wondering who of the 4 of you were gonna go, bc I knew that you all would have stepped up in a big way!! Congratulations on being such an awesome, amazing and cool guy!! I so look forward to seeing all of your videos and I'm always on the lookout for when they come!! *You did an excellent job buddy!!!* 👏👏👏💯💕😉🔥🔥🔥 P.S.- Hope those toes of yours are ok!! 🤞🤞
Awesome video! Great job Josh. Glad to see all the guys back together for another adventure. A good firestarter is to put dryer lint in a a cardboard egg carton. We use to melt wax ( over double boiler) and pour over the lint filled holders and let set. Cut them apart when they r done. Or put a cut at the edge of each one to tear apart. U can also fill the lid as well and break apart when u have used the rest of the carton. Much safer than squirting lighter fluid on an open flame. 🙏🙏 u all stay safe and stay well. Hope your family & sequoia r all doing well.
Well Done guys! Good to see you all together again. Nick, awesome getting that fire going! 😂😂 Josh, my Dad swore by his Sorels. If they are supposed to be waterproof, (not water resistant) call Sorel and tell them you need waterproofing. If you want to keep the boots and they won't send you waterproofing, I know that there are sprays, gels, and ointments that can be used to waterproof your boots. Great video! I was so engrossed in the video I didn't realize 30 minutes had passed. 😎😎😎Loved the aerial views. They added something wonderful to the perspective!
Oh my Gosh! Where was this? You guys got to get you some good warm and waterproof winter boots. Then you can go out and play 😁. Man I felt that. You are a trooper! That turned into a real survival adventure! Way to go, guys!
That guy was basically useless in that. He should have listened to you. Also, he kept stopping instead of going. That was very nice of you to go with him. He could have been luring you somewhere too. All of you could have gone and helped push. Great job as always Josh!
Great job Josh!!! All of you are totally amazing!!! The SAR crew were awesome as well!!! Please get the correct gear for the climate/situation you are in. Much love l
Josh you have to treat your shoes with waterproof a couple three times before you go out and get them all stopped and wet I can tell you did not do that because of the color also for the kid who's wearing tennis shoes put plastic bags garbage bags you know that you get from the grocery store over your feet after your socks before you put your shoes on your feet will stay a lot dryer they won't sweat as much and get as cold
Haha oh my! This brought back some good memories. I used to put bags over my feet in my rubber boots when we would go out in the field puddles in spring time haha
Josh, you're so right about having the correct pair of shoes! An extra pair of socks or two and boot chains can also be good too! One of the best gifts my dad ever gave me was a pair of boot chains. That was 40 years ago and I can't tell you how many times I've used them! Blessings to all of you!
Definitely you need waterproof insulated boots! You were on the throes of beginning stages of hypothermia dear. I’m so glad that search and rescue was able to get to you when they did. I’m glad you and the others are safe. P.S. there are battery operated heat socks available in some sporting goods stores. You might want to look into that. Better to have them and not need them…..
Josh you have restored my faith in the younger generation, you are like my brother who is always ready to help people out, I didn't think kids like you existed love you all
They needed you Josh as he wanted to keep going forward into more soft snow. The obvious like you said which would have been quick was to drag it back to the packed tracks/trail . 3 people could pick up the end or front and do it. Great job with another rescue🇨🇦
You all were made for search and rescue. My husband and I are retired medics and firefighter. We see it in all of you and your hearts.
Yay, it's Carson. We missed you Carson. Happy to see the "whole gang" together.
It really is great seeing them out working in an adventure together again! They work well together. I’d like to see Doug getting in on some of these little adventure trips with the guys though.
You were so patient with him. He didn’t listen to any of your excellent suggestions. ❤
Doing what you guys do best.....rescuing!! You all are our HEROES! Awesome job Josh!!
I really appreciate what you are doing ♥️. Love watching you all together. Your videos bring me joy. Stay safe guys 🙏

I'm shocked he didn't have a tow rope but had a gun. Maybe he planned on shooting the snow out of the way.. Also shocked his partner must have had arm problems so she couldn't help push the snowmobile.
Maybe try to master a couple of these traits.
Bring her home guys!!!
I kept listening for a well-deserved thank you. You were more than generous. Thank you, on those people’s behalf, Josh. You are one of the few angels on earth.
She did- just before the conversation about dinner (words "thank you" weren't used but "you are awesome" seems to encompass that.)

@tee and kids. And usually people say thank you.
I loved the way Josh used his reasoning skills to help get the snow machine out. Congrats!
You were born to rescue people Josh. Love from the UK.
Your a hero Josh as dropped everything for a live rescue and now you know whats needed to work in snow , numb toes when wet and lucky it was only for a short time.

Way to go Josh! You were persistent in-spite of the guy giving you pushbacks to your ideas. I felt your pain of numbness from the cold! 🥶
“The team” at work to rescue those in need! Love it, guys!
Random act of kindness. You really are heroes! Those folks are really fortunate that you were there.
Definitely, not just water rescue but snow as well. What great

Great team, sense of purpose and immediately wanting to help. You did a great job Josh. Hope your toes were okay!
Nice job, guys! ❤️🇧🇻 Am I the only one hearing the soundtrack to Convoy when I saw all the snowmobiles heading back in line? 😁🤪

Great video! I was so engrossed in the video I didn't realize 30 minutes had passed. 😎😎😎Loved the aerial views. They added something wonderful to the perspective!
Josh tip for the boots. If you use mink oil on them that helps with keeping water out.
Much love l
Love you buddy
Hope Chels, babes, and pups are all well ❤
I sense a new series "Snowmobiles Rescues". You guys are so great. And your eye for filming is so good too.
Good job guys. I loved this video. 💜. Hope to see more with you all together on the next adventure. 😊
You rock Josh!! Enjoy seeing you in action!!!! 👍👍👍👍
That Man was a Frustration.... Hats off to JOSH..... You a Hero..
Stay safe... hope it's starting to Warm Up!!!
💫⭐👍⭐💫
Your a beast Josh! Well done!!
