I have not heard of this. This seems like something I would love to play though. It's a great setting and a great idea too. so... 'THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!'.
Hi, I'm not a big commentor on YT, but thought this deserved it. Thank you so much Ash for doing what you do, and you seem to love it as well, we can see it in the enthusiasm you bring to all your batreps. Seeing these lesser known wargames in such high production value is fantastic for the hobby, and I cannot praise your efforts enough. If I had the resources to be a patreon I would, but I do what I can by watching and liking all I can. Even with some of the controversial games like AOS, it shows you enjoy it and are trying to show the community that its not as bad as the internet would have us believe, and for that we (i hope its a we) applaud you. Keep doing what you love and you will keep making us happy. May the dice Gods smile on you, and may your paint pots remain full. Regards from an anonymous fan.
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES! I love stuff like this. The story aspect of wargaming is what got me hooked, so I love seeing the ability to create our own stories!
This is like the perfect storm for this game to hit my radar. I Just started getting back into Mordheim and Necromunda, I just saw Mad Max: Fury Road two days ago, I am fanatically awaiting Fallout 4, and I just discovered your great videos last week :) I was pretty much on board right from the start, but when bottle caps came up as currency, I was sold. Thanks! Oh, and THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!
just want to say thanks for putting me onto this game. binge watched this the other day and now I'm preparing for my first campaign in the ruins of Glasgow with some first time gamer friends :D
Great report Ash! Thanks for the presentation and introduction to a sweet game I never would have been aware of. World's End came up with an elegant design solution in regard to the whole UGOIGO mechanics and the promotions/exploration segment was pure hobby nostalgia gold. I particularly enjoyed your Great Lakes Wasteland narrative. Now if only there was somewhere like that on the East Coast.
Love the buildings, the post-apocalyptical setting is great but there seems to be whole lot of number crunching. It could be that you guys are using sheets instead of the cards that fallout has. I think I'll stick with fallout. This does seem like a Wasteland table-top though which I like. I just have a lot of room or money so have to be picky as to what I buy.
this looks amazing..... will have to get thenrules and 2 crews i think haha. thank you for showing us this. keep up the good work on behalf of the UK 😄
'THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!'. Love Fallout, Love Mordheim... this is sounding awesome Definitely going to start modding my remaining skaven and creating a back story to incorporate them.
Great looking game! I really love warband/campaign based games like this and excited to see something fresh in that department. THIS IS NOT A TEST: Gimmie it--PLEASE!
This Is Not A Test. Gimme It Please! Cracking game. I hope this series runs long past the planned 3 battles and encourages lots of gamers to put together some wild & wacky post-apoc warbands.
DrVesuvius70 I thought you'd appreciate that. I've got lots of locals interested in building warbands. Now that they've seen the game in action I'll likely be having to figure out how to fit other Indie games in around it! :)
I'm a late comer to this series, but really liked this video and your technique in showing how games are played. I like seeing the higher amount of terrain. I'm a big Mordheim player and have always thought your Mordheim table was fairly sparsely populated, but liked seeing how the amount of terrain influenced this game.
Just spent today playing Terminator Genysis (surprisingly good fun) and talking about getting a Necromunda campaign going again, this turns up and BAM I've found the game I want to play. THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!
This is not a test: Gimmie it please! This makes me want to make a group of Enclave operating out of the armory in Minneapolis. Either that, or the Duluth Coast guard base. In any case, It looks like quite a cool system.
Guerrilla Miniature Games Awesome! That's super cool. I'm excited to see your enclave- they will likely make for some pretty sweet batreps. I may have to take a break from building my first 40k army once I get the current round of Skitarii done to make some preserver Enclave. In the mean time, I could test out the rules with some space marine models around the place.
Guerrilla Miniature Games Nice! That's a pretty sweet mini. I can see some excellent potential for magnets and alternate weapons there. How many dudes in power armor would make up a team at a similar point level as you were playing in this video? 2-3? Can the preservers take dogs or robots to flesh out a team?
Great job ash, was a game I really was considering. Now if only all the sets they weren't running low on stock :P. oh and THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMMIE THE RULES.
Josh Luich Joey says restocks are in next week. I don't think he expected the video to clean him out like this! :) Email him on the site contact and he'll look through Backstock/con-stock to see if he has what you're after. :)
This is pretty awesome. I would love to do a Brother Hood Initiate group. Get them power armor as time went on. Or just go super expensive and try for the Enclave This Is Not A Test: Give Me It Please!
After the game when you loot the wasteland, you take the card value (2-10) and multiply it by 3! (Reference Pg 151 in the rulebook). You just took what you flipped over :p
PLEASE tell me where you get/who makes the 4x6 gaming mats you use! We are in dire need of some good ones. My husband and I just played our first game of This is Not a Test last week. It's great, and it's also great to see someone playing it on RUclips!
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES! I am patiently awaiting the physical printing of the rules.... been waiting for what feels like an eternity, but it's only really been a few months >_

This is not a test, gimme it please? This game looks pretty awesome, although the single die means it's probably more prone to luck flux then some other games.
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES! I understand you gave up the bot because you didn't have one painted for the next games you probably played right after this one. But man... probably would have kept it if this was going to be a long campaign. The upkeep was probably worth it. (Having not seen the stats at all !) I was just pumped you got it after losing your sniper. Also felt like the loot you got after the game was a little understated. Feels like when you lose a model in this game it really hurts, taking multiple games to get one back.
TheJustcae Any other model in the Warband would have been easy to replace. Losing her was bad because she had a ton of gear. It would have been like losing your Heavy game 1 in Necromunda and having him take his 120cred Heavy Stubber with him. :D If it had been an officer, I could have replaced him right away next game.
I genuinely feel bad for you and Owen when it comes to injury rolls. They are typically terrible. Good to know that any other character would have been easily replaced. And yet sad at the same time lol!
One recommendation from a friend and one battle report.
That was all I needed to be convinced to buy the game. Well played.
It's what we do.
It's great to see you playing all kinds of games! Old, New, and Indie alike!
"This is not a test, gimme it please!"
I have not heard of this. This seems like something I would love to play though. It's a great setting and a great idea too. so...

I love stuff like this. The story aspect of wargaming is what got me hooked, so I love seeing the ability to create our own stories!
Now here's a game that deserves to be huge.
"Boy and His Dog" I remember this one from the old days. I remeber that i was quite suprised by the ending scene first time i have watched it.
A variation of Morheim that my son raised in the era of The Walking Dead will get excited about. Thank you Ash. This Is Not A Test: Gimme Them Rules!
Awesome. Had to LOL at the don't roll a 1 for the lady at the end. Doh!! Really enjoyed the video. Informative and visually impressive. Top job guys.
Thanks Simon!
This is not a test. Gimme it please !
Time passes slowly in the Vault and i need more games to keep me entertained while the world burns above !
This is like the perfect storm for this game to hit my radar. The stars are aligned :)
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES! I love this kinda stuff! It reminds me of my hometown, twinned with a postapocalyptic wasteland.sigh.
THIS IS NOT A TEST, gimmie it please. With sugar on top and all sorts of lovely whipped cream!
Had a chance to play this at NOVA Open last year and liked the "weight of fire" concept for ranged damage.

I particularly enjoyed your Great Lakes Wasteland narrative. Now if only there was somewhere like that on the East Coast.
It's a bit like Blood bowl with turnovers and I love the Wasteland deck too!
One of the most interesting and imaginitive vids i've ever seen about a miniatures game. Well done bro.

Hi Ash, where does the amazing gaming mat come from?
Thanks in advance for your reply!
Luis Pastor GameMat.eu makes that. It's appropriately called 'Fallout Zone'. :)
I swear I've probably watched this batrep like 10 times now.

This is not a test: Gimmie it please! This makes me want to make a group of Enclave operating out of the armory in Minneapolis. Either that, or the Duluth Coast guard base. In any case, It looks like quite a cool system.
You can totally do this! The Preserver warband can take Relic power armour and weapons and can represent either BoS or Enclve! I'm doing Enclave next!
Guerrilla Miniature Games
Awesome! That's super cool. I'm excited to see your enclave- they will likely make for some pretty sweet batreps. I may have to take a break from building my first 40k army once I get the current round of Skitarii done to make some preserver Enclave. Thanks for showing this. Love the homegrown games
Currently reading Metro 2033 and this ruleset seems perfect for a game in that setting.
THIS IS NOT A TEST, please gimme gimme :D
JoEl Absolutely. Would work for any Post Apocalyptic setting. I'm even thinking about doing a Half-Life game! :D
After the game when you loot the wasteland, you take the card value (2-10) and multiply it by 3! (Reference Pg 151 in the rulebook). You just took what you flipped over :p
Nick Woodward Wow... that's a lot more cash!
Yep! I was watching and I was thinking... "Wow, you spent almost half of your BS on upkeep... that's not right!" Glad I could help:)
This was an awesome looking game.
This is not a test: Gimme it please.
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME IT PLEASE!
Awesome with some quick easy rules to use for fallout, or even metro 2033 :D
Mattias Mattsson They will absolutely work for Metro, or STALKER, or even Half Life. :)
That was a pretty awesome game, might have to give it a try :)
And of course; 'THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!'

Always a fan of post apoc games, have a new group of gamers who i want to introduce to table top games. I think the low model count with the personality of the game would draw them in for sure!
Where did this superb gaming mat come from and/or what is its name so i can search interwebz?
Defentaly more I'm getting this game me and my friends will play the hell out if it!
The world might have already been set on fire, but this game just started a flame in my heart!
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!
***** Well played Jesse. Well played. :)
Guerrilla Miniature Games Now I expect to see a Three Dog mini on the table asap. Perhaps for a "secure the radio tower" mission...?
***** I think I'll have to make up my own local Shock DJ for the Great Lakes Wasteland. The Capitol Wasteland is a loooonnng way away. :)
Guerrilla Miniature Games I approve. We can't expect ol' Three Dog to use all of the RadAway and Stimpaks it would take to bring the power of music to the Great Lakes. May your DJ bring smiles with his/her music and encouragement to those who are fighting the good fight.
***** I've already got an idea for it. It involves Ghoulification though. :D
THIS IS NOT A TEST: GIMME THEM RULES!
We will be shiney and chrome!
Awesome game! Love me some Boy and His Dog. Can't wait to see more.
