Lot of absolute gems, I remember when I first got my PSP games I wanted to get some movies or shows but everywhere I went didn't have anything I was looking for I thought they just never had that many movies, it's crazy to see everything that was released that I never saw cause I would have bought so many in a heartbeat if I actually found them when big retailers still carried umd stuff
Thanks! To be honest I remember Gamestop had a section for them but can't really remember if stores like Best Buy and Target carried many of them. and the ones that are now super rare probably didn;t go out to many stores at all.
Cannibal the musical from Matt Stone and Trey Parker that’s a movie they made in college and they got kicked out of college because they spent so much time on it . It is such a funny movie well worth the Watch .

Same reason why some still like watching VHS or DVDs and so on releases. It’s all preferences me personally I think wizard of oz looks best on VHS but that’s me lol…anyways enjoy it!

Idk if he values the rest of his collection for around $100. It is a highly sought after movie but it is not rare. Hard to find is fair to say. And I’m assuming he is saying that because it was listed like 3xs by the same guy on eBay for over $1000 and never sold. Well it got sold on “offer” then relisted again. But yea if you check, last one sold (disc only) for $20. So multiply that by how ever much you want for having the case. But until now, last official auction on eBay, sold for a little over $100. Since then only that seller that’s playing games on eBay, was the last complete sale of it. So it could have sold for $1000 or $.01.
They are hard to find nowadays. They might have some at a local game store but the best bet is ebay, but they might be expensive. Maybe you can get lucky on an auction that ends cheap.
My issue with Sony is always the same one. Amazing products awful marketing. These things cost more than their dvd counter parts when they came out and the original psp had no tv out. So here you have this format that is limited to you psp and cost more. It was just baffling. The fact that Sony never mad a stand alone umd movie player for tvs or portable umd only players also came off as a stupid move. Finding these things was also a huge pain. It really was a missed oppertunity. I also dont really know how well they hold up on a dvd when compared to a dvd. Newer codecs with better compression but the disk size was insanely smaller with only something like 1.4 or 1.6gb per disk.
From personal experience, the PSP is one of the most flimsy handhelds out there. Must have gone through 4-5 over time. The Castlevania game is really great, but it's so odd that in order to unlock Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, you have to find a secret breakable roof panel in one level. I struggled through the game and beat it legit and thought "obviously you unlock them after you beat the game" but nope... Just need to know where to throw an axe in level 3.

You got insta? I could send a list I wrote out. Alot of people say my collection is well worth over 500 at least. But each day the prices goes up and up, people don't realize UMDs are rare nostalgia. I love them. Helps with the hurricanes lmao

Yes I agree. Also doesn't help the PSP are prone to break down and the UMD's are flimsy and can crack open just by putting them back in the case.
