I am starting to get into the use of this FPV controller 3 with the Avata now. Lots of practice to lock down manual mode! Very different to the motion 3 😂. Be interested to know your thoughts on what drones you think are best suited for filming indoors. Have used the Avata, but any others you think might be better suited? Ps. You probably could have kept your shades on with the google N3's 😅. Keep doing your thing 👊🏾
Hey! Yeah manual is a different animal to flying with the motion controller. For filming indoors, I actually think the Avata 2 is perfect. You can just flick it into normal mode and easily fly around indoors. There are some smaller O4 or O4 Pro drones like the Beta FPV Pavo 20 pro but I think the A2 is a great choice for indoors. Haha I have tried the N3's and honestly didn't like them, I much prefer the optics on the G3, but I can see how they fit into the ecosystem 😃👊🏽
I have been using the pause button in "N" to get used to it being there. The few times I have tried Manual, I seem to forget it's there when things go wrong.
You're on the right track with getting your muscle memory dialied in using it in N mode first. I'd reccomend using in manual a few times when nothing is going wrong so you get familiar with where it is whilst you're flying in manual. You're having to think a lot more in manual so it's understandable ti trip up at first.
I've never tried it on my av2, but what about in a freefall dive where your throttle is almost 0% and you press the brake button - I wonder if it can actually stop mid air 😅
Yep even in that situation, it'll stop the drone from falling and put it into a stable hover. 😂 I tried everything to make it trip up and it just works everytime. As long as you have enough height for the drone to physically recover from the manoeuvre, the pause button will be able to save you.
