During my military service as a combat diver, list of my duty included inspection of submarines that were going at sea, or coming back. That is a great visibility and apparently warm water, just like in my dreams.
I love the ocean and i love swimming and diving im a welder but i really want to do underwater welding and man i really dont understand why people are afriad of the ocean or swimming or deep water it really baffles me lol
Yes friend, to become a underwater inspector, first you need to have the commercial diving course, after you gotta to specialize yourself and make a cswip course. I just have commercial diving course 👌😊
Why is the sea chest operating when there's a river down. Ok, it's only about 5% on but if someone was to move the controls, you would be sucked and stuck to the sea chest with no escape. You need to know who is in charge on board the ship your inspecting. You probably do my friend. I couldn't do your job even though I'm ex Royal Navy I get a horrible feeling being in water next to ships.

usually here in Brazil companies charge for inspection. approximately 3 thousand dollars for a simple inspection, just photos and videos. but there are more expensive inspections with live video. and also with some other different procedures, like measuring rudder clearance, these things

You want to dive near one using a rebreather, so nobody knows you are there. Make sure to go close to the propelor so you can admire it fully

You re gonna get yourself killed if you keep working like that. Get yourself proper training along with dive team and commercial diving gear.
