Large Chinese orchestra is all noise. Sorry, but Chinese instruments are meant to be played individually or in small ensembles. "China National Traditional Orchestra" as this is called is not traditional at all.
If "traditions" do not innovate, they die. And who are you to say that certain instruments are not to be played in an ensemble? Violins play solo or in duets (as in sonatas) but they also play in orchestras. These musicians who play traditional Chinese insturments have every right to form ensembles as they like and make music. What is "noise" is relative. Some people think Beethoven is all "noise" and fury and hate his music. To each his/her taste. You are not an arbiter of musical taste.

Ao LIU 这种大型乐队，一定是指挥为主导配出来的，很多人都忽视了指挥的重要性，实际上指挥必须是一个乐队中最全面的那个，练习过程中配合好不好，演奏者自己是听不出来的，必须得指挥来，有很多指挥甚至会自己谱曲，或者直接就是个演奏家，独奏干脆自己上.....
在金色大厅响起中华的音乐，这才是艺术的真谛，音乐无国界
