@@BOUTDOORSALASKA I know. I miss it so much. Until I can make it back, I will continue to watch yours and several other YT channels living in Alaska. Yours is the only fishing channel I watch. I love seeing your family together & enjoying fishing together.
So, when you're fishing the North beach like you were, the fish are coming from the right almost always, unless they're being pushed around by a sea lion. Make sure to turn you net clockwise, roll it over to the right>>>> they're gill nets but the big bucks sometimes are too big for the mesh and you need to turn the net and keep it down while walking it up the beach, otherwise you will lose the big ones. Good luck!
@@BOUTDOORSALASKA I hope it helps, I'm new as well but it's something I learned quickly there. I really enjoy your enthusiasm and making it an family adventure! Tight lines and full nets!
You are so right, anytime you can catch fish & bring them home, it is A GREAT DAY!!! Congratulations getting some beautiful salmon!
There is so much to Learn here in Alaska

I fished the same day as you from a boat nearby y’all and guys in boats weren’t doing any better. Just a slow day. Glad you caught some!
@@Nanook6 it was a fun experience did you catch a lot of Flounder from the boat I would think it would be different but not sure.
@@BOUTDOORSALASKATONS of flounder. Maybe as many as salmon that day.
@@Nanook6 wow I was not expecting that
Nice 5:23
The Kenai River is just a big fish fishery. Kings, reds, silvers, pinks, some of the biggest in the world have come out of there.
@@kdholtan2646 it’s a true treasure for sure
