I've never heard so many experts in one place in my life ,everyone of those saws are top shelf and will work day in and day out if maintained properly.
@@CaliforniaCarpenter7 I was suspicious of these dolkitas until I grabbed one. Way less plastic than what it appears to be, unbeatable price and parts can be found all over the web. Pretty impressed, might pull the trigger on a 7900
@@em4703 It would be a good choice. I’ve got a 100 super, a 120si and a 143 and they are all top shelf. Dolmar/Makita doesn’t make anything but pro saws, the factory refurbished quality is also second to none. Especially for the price.
@@CaliforniaCarpenter7113, 120SI, and a143MX on my shelf. The 113 needs some misc parts but runs great. The 120 has 3/4 wrap handle and needs a coil. The 143 needs a complete tear down and is mostly a complete saw. Hard search for an oil cap for that one.
I have Makita DCS7901 - it feels and cuts great. Sometimes I take it up the tree to cut a thicker bough; it just sinks in. My small Makita dcs231TopHandle pairs my 7901 well and like them both. After every use, I clean the saws with kerosene, sharpen the chains and spray some WD40 on them. The both work great. I have not own any other saws before.
Nice to see ya takin care of yer saws. When using kero as a wash be careful around rubber parts. I was taught long ago that it will deteriorate rubber, especially when soaking. Learned this from a master engine builder almost 40 yrs ago. I always heeded his advice and knowledge. Keep em cuttin, friend.
Rpm and sprocket count equals chain speed. Add a properly sharpened chain with at least .020 on the rakers. All these are great saws. Lucky to still be able to run them. Love them all
These higher CC saws only show the difference between them when pulling longer bars, and they will beat each other based on their CC/torque. the 7900 destroys all the others when pulling 28+ inch bars and bucks a big log to burry it. In anything under 25 you're better off with a ms 362, or 261 if even smaller. No saw will cover it all. Nice saws btw :D
This is one I’ve been wanting to do myself. I have a mastermind 461 and a XS7900 and a XS372. Honestly not sure which will cut faster out of the 461 and 7900 they are both powerhouse saws. Waiting to get a big piece of wood for test.
What have you done to the Husqvarna? It did pretty good against the others for being down several cc's to them. I just bought a Jonsered 2166 that I quickly converted into the same basic saw as the 2172/372 XP.
On the Makita the chain was definitely not sharp. I have ran that saw stock with no mods and it pulls thru anything. But if U put a dull chain on a 120 cc saw ur still gonna get bad results.
You sure your not running a rotiller with that stihl in the ground hard on your first cut. It sure is hell aint gonna cut after that one. You mist be an amateur!
Lol.......I'll put $1000 on that not happening. When you can make a power cell as big as a 2 gallon jug and able to recharge a saw as fast as it takes to refuel you'll be getting somewhere. Until then......long live internal combustion!

And yet, Dolmar wins the contest for best. I have four Stihl and eleven Husqy saws, my three Sachs Dolmar are the best.

@@em4703 I'm grabbing a 7310. Will be on the hunt for a 7900/7910, and a 9000/9010.
Been hunting for a couple older models as well. Great saws.

Love my Dolmar
We used to run different kinds of saws and one day I asked dad which one is best and he said "the sharpest". I kinda go with that

My big regret selling my 61cc makita

I think chain is full on Makita 7900
Dull
And another good log goes up in slices...prooving what?
I sell them for $5
The Makita without the catalytic converter dominates

100 percent fact a 60 cc saw will run with lg displacement in small wood

+JROC734 muffler mod
Same as the husky 365
Pěkné video ale časy řezů chybí !!!
Hello Ms500i?
Ms500i
Looked like Husky had its rakers a bit lower than the others - LOL
Seeing the cuts is great but alittle of you talking about how they feel to you would be good. Sometimes it's about feel
+Michael Adams I'll post an update
4.4 vs 3.9 vs 4.3 vs 4.3 - kW
instead of 372 you need 572 (4.3)
and must be the same: pitch, tire and chain, and fuel mixture
I need both a 572 and 462
What's with the back-barring? Only demonstrates one thing- bar problem w/Makita 7900. Otherwise, wtf, simulated competition?
Dolmar 7910 Nagyon meggyőző! Meg a DOLMAR 9010
Dolmar LOVE me❤️
I can see the problem on the dolmar-makita
N-W NW chain needs to be sharpened on the Dolmar-Makita. Thats what I see.
Dull chain
Crooked
It be nice to own all brands of chainsaws.
I'm working on my collection all the time
Nice dolmar
Dolmar number 1
Dolmar❤
Does all machines have the same ring ?
No and some have 1 and some have 2 to.
hae bolmar ok ? sthil ok ?

STIHL N 1 💪💪💪
Le son de la 7910 est magnifique
The high is off on the Stihl.
Sounds a little lean
You need to check your rakers and sharpen your chain
Chains
They are all different. The blue Makita had a broken tooth bent
@@KimballCody Check out the chips when going down; the Makita (blue Dolmar) delivers too small chips, meaning the chain needs attention.
Dolmar Makita,br1

open the muffler on that 461 & it will cut almost twice as fast ! Port and polish the cylinder intake & exhaust ports and it will cut like a 660 !!
Knock it off. You don't even own a chainsaw
Dude stuffs the bar in the dirt almost every cut. How do you expect to have a fair competition with shit chains you stuff in the dirt and rocks.
Sithl digerleri bayiliyo
I think the dolmar took it
+Michael White its a good saw
dolmar
Saws are not equally sharp. Makita dull
The makita had a bad chain
Dolmar Makita
dolkita
Sithl digerleri bayiliyo
That 461 would stuff them all if it was sharp. My 372 doesnt hold a candle to my 461 nice saw but stihl eats it
Neither one of these saws cut particularly well.
Use same bar and chain next time... keep consistent with your cuts.... watch hot saw 101cutting action, post your time differences
Hands down Husky.
Husqvarna the best!!!
Dolmar = Makita!
other way around
Makita is a killer but yours is dull af .
Stihl 461
Husqvarna was fastest !
461 all day!
What..
Husky
Cordless electric will takeover these in 'bout 5 years

I did say 5 years, not 5 days...You'll be eating your words in 5 years lol!
I'd rather cut my willy off and feed it to a shark than run an electric saw hahaha
andrew srenson yes Tesla will produce them complete with self sawing mode.
