Do you not feel any emotion when you sing some of the old hymns? I can't get through How Great Thou Art without choking up. Emotion is not a bad thing 🤷♀️
I could understand your criticism if the songs they were singing had shallow, repetitive words or were written in such a way where rhythm and drums were the driving force of the song…. But this hymn here-the Love of God?! This is an old rich hymn full of truth and beauty and sung with conviction!
