Hate me but OT9 version has better line distribution that OT8 in this song. I adore all 9 members but Tiffany don't fit some line that is supposed to be for Jessica. Maybe they should've gave it to Taeyeon or Seohyun or maybe even Sunny since they almost sound the same.
Exo Taeng I agree, and I'm a Tiffany stan 😄 but I have a question. So you said some lines should go to Taeyeon, Sunny, and Seohyun, but are you basing this on your opinion (or maybe it's fact) that they sound more like Jessica? Or are you basing it on stableness or another factor? I don't mean to offend you at all, I'm just curious.

Ppl are trashing tiffany for getting Jessica's high note but literally (IN THE OT9 RECORDING AND MV) Jessica can't even sing it on time. She riffs a half beat too late. At least tiffany could correct what should have been. I love Jessica, but she wasn't the fittest.

Jessica is versatile, her voice might fit in all concepts while Tiffany, she does her job well but I think she is not versatile when it comes to the concepts, she can be very cringy and super annoying (always)
Tiffany in the other hand has more powerful voice than Jessica, Jessica is good more of her higher range because her voice is naturally high, Tiffany's prime is at low. I guess Jessica's high note is perfect to Tiffany's range, In my observation, Tiffany sang it live while jessica sometime lypsync that note. But both versions are onpoint. But personally i prefer Tiffany's version than Jessica. ❤
Of course, Tiffany deserves 50% of the lines in snsd songs and most of Sica's lines because her voice always suits everything more right? Even though a lot of her lines are high notes that everyone knows she struggles with? Get real! Tiffany's fans should remain fans and not try to be judges of skill, talent or line distribution.

Bl3ck Twice - As I'm not a marathon runner, if I was told to run 26 miles I would say No, as I can't. All Tiff has to do is say she can't reach that note, give it to someone else, such as Sunny, Seohyun etc. But she doesn't. Tiff is over confident is her singing abilities. She is not smart and constantly pushed her voice higher than she can go - thus damaging her voice producing more nodules, whilst at the same time giving the impression that she is a bad singer.
It's a stupid, stupid situation and it's one that is almost entirely Tiff's own doing. Success with TTS went a little to her head and she grabbed everything that came her way without considering if she was capable or not.
That is not hating on Tiff, it's just honesty. Tiff is a lower range soprano and she has a beautiful warmth and earthy quality to her voice which makes it distinctive and alluring. It's always been one of my favourites. Which is why I am so damn annoyed with her!
Tiff, as an American is i influenced by singers like Mariah Carey and Beyonce. However, and let's be honest here - she is nowhere near that ability. But she constantly attempts it, which only results in her screeching and screaming into the microphone and possibly damaging her voice. And not to mention cracking and sounding bad! That's just really bad judgement on her part.
I love Tiff, but she sometimes breaks my heart with her choices. Of all the girls, it's Tiff I believe lives to sing. She loves it so much you can see it! Singing brings her joy. I want and wish for her to have a long and happy singing career, but genuinely fear she will end up ruining her voice because she doesn't know how to sing to her advantage and ability.

Seohyun can do High notes better than Tiffany, sometimes better than Jessica, but SM don't give her a lot because she is the harmonizer, the only reason they give it to Tiffany is that they are so Biased, it should go for Seohyun or Sunny as well and everybody knows that
