Fantastic job! I work with a nonprofit that teaches filmmaking to kids, this is definitely going with me into a meeting. This kind of innovation and hard work from a single individual is the type of dedication that filmmakers should have. You set a goal, made a budget, did it all yourself, and made an incredible result. I hope you’re very proud of yourself! There’s nothing like the feeling of completing a project - and there’s especially nothing like that feeling when you did it on your own.
Oh wow this is probably the coolest comments I've gotten, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. Also that sounds like an awesome nonprofit! I hope they enjoy the video!
@ absolutely!! My mom is the CEO and I’ll share it with her today. If you or anyone is interested, it’s called The Movie Institute. Heads up we’re tiny! We’re based in a single Texas location only at the moment but we hope to expand. Film can teach so many life skills - and I know without it I wouldn’t be the person I am today!
@@SayerBaca Okay, this is absolutely adorable and a great example of what we want our kids to be able to do. Would you mind if I link to this in a social post so our little community can have a look? I think they will be inspired by your wonderful film! I hope you're planning to submit this to some festivals. (I'm Ariana's mom, with The Movie Institute.)
@@StaceyVail Yes, absolutely! I looked up The Move Institute and it looks really cool. I'm glad there's organizations out there to teach kids filmmaking!
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I agree, I think I could've had a little more in the middle to show Cactus's transformation better. Thanks for watching it! :)
This is such an awesome video. The movie is also great, if I had children - I would've definetely shown this to them (not said in a derogatory way to be clear).
The stacked cardboard rocks is pretty genius.
Thanks! It wasn't my idea actually, I got it from this video: ruclips.net/video/N0oqFdkr_wY/видео.html but I'm really happy with how they turned out!
I love your work!!! I think you should send it to independent short film festivals so more people can enjoy it!
Thank you so much!! I've done a couple local ones actually! They're really fun, I'd love to start going to some more!

Thank you so much!!
the movie feels too short for the drastic character development of the cactus, he just flips on a dime from hating to loving the baloon
