That Thai dwarf is actually Chiang mai60 cultivar (Morus alba var. Chiangmai . It's a white mulberry) . It's a little bit sour . Suitable for made into wine and ice cream. If you grow on the ground for 3-4 years it will have no hair and has huge fruits .

Great video and saw another video saying this variety are too small!! Obviously wrong and great info!! I get wild ones in Connecticut. You wouldn’t believe the size of the tree I found. It was a black mulberry but unsure of precise species of black mulberry but the trunk diameter is two feet !! I found other mulberry trees with wider trunks than that.

Hi there! I've bought some mulberry cuttings at ebay. It came from Thailand, and while it was named kinda "Oscar", it appeared to be the same as yours. So let me call my mulberry Thai Dwarf after watching your video.

One way to tell is, it’s a super heavy producer, and also the kernels of the mulberry can break apart without mashing or making a mess when the fruit is just barely ripe. Also they root from cuttings so easily, and sometimes their branches will break due to how heavy producers they are!

@@year1organics Unfortunately it can't survive outdoors here, but I have this plant in a big pot indoors. It is not that heavy producer as at your place, but still worth to have on a balcony.

Are they cold hardy to zone 6 there not a lot of information about them but most morus alba hybrids are.

I’m unsure of what temperatures they can take cold wise some mulberries grow into Canada. There’s just so little information on them yet
