8:14 There's a pretty funny explanation for this. I've watched Slimecicle's reaction to this video. Apparently the Mace spray was a result of Jaiden misinterpreting the actual proper mace weapon (as in a Morningstar type weapon) during character creation. And no one actually realized there was a misunderstanding until the actual campaign. I recommend watching that video as it adds a lot of context as to what he as DM was planning and thinking at different parts.
