I successfully installed lineage Android 10 and it works very good. Thank you so much.
Some apps has lag on first lunch. I don't know why but I suppose it's because Im using micro SD card as default storage.
(Odin 3 didn't worked with windows 7 on VAIO laptop so I used my Windows 10 Desktop PC )
Best features are:
1. Hand wave lock screen clock.
2. Dark theme
3. You can use SD card same as internal storage
4. No pre installed apps and clean UI
Weaknesss:
1. No on off button for GPS/Location on action bar.
2. Tocch screen feels less responsive.
All together, I recommend It. Specially for those who has internal storage problems.

Dear sir After install this rom on my samsung j5 00f sim card 2 not working for 4g or 3g signals. it work with only 2 g signals. how to fix this issue ?
i did the same thing, but the phone doesn't turn on after the last reboot system. After the installation of the ROM was finished, it showed Samsung galaxy, and after that, it's only a black screen 😅, the lineage os logo didn't show up

Thanks man it worked i installed it on my Samsung sm-j500f. I installed it on 19 Jan 2025. It works if you follow all the steps correctly but do take caution while downloading the lineage file because if you download the wrong file while flashing the lineage file it will show error code 7. When you click on the mentioned lineage link in the description it will show the webpage and there it will show the option to DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION DO NOT CLICK ON IT. Instead click on the file ABOVE recovery and boot lineage img file THAT FILE WILL BE ZIP FILE. Download that file and flash that file in twrp. Your Flashing of custom rom will go smoothly if you follow my above advice.

i have tried to install the rom for j500h 3g. but when i try to install i get this "updater process ended with error 7". after that i tried "Step 4. Get rid of the line starting with “assert” to next semi-colon. Usually this is the first line or one of the first lines at the top of the text file. Just delete them." and i got another error saying "invalid zip type formatting". help me please
You installed the wrong ROM. You cannot flash J500FN ROM to J500F for example. What is your model? I will send You a download link.

Not recommended at all , I found lots of bug on J500F
