After the hammering in Bern, I was looking forward to see how we responded and I must say, we responded really well. First half we had countless chances to score but only took the one when Chader let fly from distance and found the corner. Winti had a couple of good chances but on the whole we were impressive in the first 45.
Second half and Jashari has a terrible head clash, blood pouring out and he had to go off. From that moment Winti started to play some football and deservedly equalised when Schattin found the far corner with a low drive. After that they hit the post which ended up being a turning point in the game.
Corner kick to us and at the back post it's headed across goal and Simani sticks out a knee to prod it in! Abubakar made sure of the win making it 3-1 at the end. A thoroughly deserved win.
Final word on the ref. Look she booked Frydek harshly early and missed a clear foul on Meyer but honestly she was better than most that we've had this season. She's very strong in her decision making, but not arrogant about it. She's improved a lot in recent years, fair play to her.
