it was the second day for me. I had eight rounds. been watching your blog for some time until I realized I was looking forward to your posts; so I learned how to subscribe. you are the first! I was diagnosed in august of 2017.. you have been an inspiration to me and have impacted many of my days. steven here.
My mom had chemo and she was very sensitive to drugs given all her life but when she got Cancer there were times she had no reaction at all!!! I pray that happens for you!!! Huge prayers for you always!!!! Keep fighting like a boss!!!!

Henry Lima I still have it but it's stable for the most part. Was diagnosed in 2013 and things looked pretty bad but luckily medicines have advanced over the years so now I'm alot better , thanks for asking :)
I love the connection you have with your mum, she's probably putting on a brave face but you gotta love her for her bright and funny personality through this all. I'm lucky to have a mum like you, one who will be there no matter how old you are, just being that rock by our sides and to pick us up when we fall flat on our faces! Gotta love our mums!
When I first saw Your video I saw a person who can do everything even with cancer. And even after hearing bad news You are still fighting and thats why I really look up to You. I know what somebody could say " What can a 16 years old boy know about a life". Life is hard and sometimes I thought " Why I even live" but after watching Your videos I think that life is the most precious thing that could come to me. I really wish You very best and hope that You will recover. :)

Years ago, anti sickness drugs were not part of the chemo and I had a friend who was so ill for the first few days, so it’s good that chemo treatment has improved by a long way. My chemo side effects hit me on the evening of the 2nd day every single time. The worst was the first time. The next times were a bit easier. Before losing hair, my scalp hurt. Nothing tasted right anymore and I chose weird foods to eat. There was pain, but you’re already experiencing that so it might not be the same for you. Same with fatigue. The anti-nausea meds worked well for me. No vomiting at all. I’m thinking so many good thoughts tor you.

Hi dan my sister used to be sick the next day after chemo, and it would last for a few days. Shes out of the woods for now, she had 18 chemos and 28 radiums. It is not easy dont give up xxxx

Remember to take a deep breath in as the needle goes in and when it's done demand a plaster with a smiley face on it (for being brave you see) and that's it...............oh, and don't forget to breathe out too ok 😀. Sharon B I imagine depending how long they are expecting him to have the treatment they will put one in if it’s expected to be months. My mum and dad both have one and it’s so much easier on them it’s so horrible to see someone have it so often without one :(
Noah M It's a medical device they can implant into your chest area (in my case) that allows them to draw blood and inject chemo without having to "stick you" everytime.
I hope so much that you beat this.. Everytime I see your video pop up I'm happy that you're still here.. Cancer is such an awful disease.. I hope we'll find a cure.. bless everybody who is going through this

Last year my uncle died from liver cancer. He had been fighting cancer 2 years previously in his bowel. Which he beat and then literally 2 months later there were several tumours in his liver and he died very shortly after. Before that I had never really experienced the effects of cancer which is why it so emotional to watch your journey and you are inspirational staying so hopeful and being so truthful. I sincerely hope you can overcome this. I will pray for you everyday. Keep fighting mate.
Chemo obviously sucks! It's now 9pm and no side effects yet. Just wondering if anyone had side effects in the first 24hrs? Or further down the line?

Yo bro my mom which had cancer had started having side effects like after a week or so
Everyone is different. Immune therapy had bowl effects one day later, radiation had immediate effect, then really bad about three day in.

When nausea starts smoke a joint , my sister smoke to the last day and I will never down her for it. It helped her tremulously .

My mom is a breast cancer survivor from back in the 1980's and she turned 90 this past January. I love your positive attitude and your comedy. Hi dan my sister used to be sick the next day after chemo, and it would last for a few days. Shes out of the woods for now, she had 18 chemos and 28 radiums. It is not easy dont give up xxxx
I'm really happy it went well for you today. Needles are horrible aren't they, iv had my fair share of those too! Remember to take a deep breath in as the needle goes in and when it's done demand a plaster with a smiley face on it (for being brave you see) and that's it...............oh, and don't forget to breathe out too ok 😀. You (and your Mum) handled it all so well. I loved hearing the familiar “fun, fun, fun!” even though I know it all just sucks. I would have been terrified. But, as it always is with something hard, you just have to deal with it. You do so with such grace. I hope you have an easy time of it. Won’t that be cool if the tumors shrink !? Sharon B I imagine depending how long they are expecting him to have the treatment they will put one in if it’s expected to be months. My mum and dad both have one and it’s so much easier on them it’s so horrible to see someone have it so often without one :(
Whats a port?
Noah M It's a medical device they can implant into your chest area (in my case) that allows them to draw blood and inject chemo without having to "stick you" everytime.

Last year my uncle died from liver cancer. He had been fighting cancer 2 years previously in his bowel. Which he beat and then literally 2 months later there were several tumours in his liver and he died very shortly after. Before that I had never really experienced the effects of cancer which is why it so emotional to watch your journey and you are inspirational staying so hopeful and being so truthful. I sincerely hope you can overcome this. I will pray for you everyday. Keep fighting mate.
