Speech Delay or actually, language delay or disorder as we call it. It is something that all parents dread to hear.
If you're finding this video for answers, then there are 3 signs that you can look out for
    1. Lack of vocabulary, not enough words, and sentences produced. Basically, your child doesn't speak as much as s/he should be right now. When compared to his peers, there is a marked difference in production.
By the age of 2, children should be able to speak 2-word sentences even if the grammar is wrong. And at 4-5 years of age, children should be able to tell adults what happened at school and tell a simple story. If your child cannot do this, there is a risk of language delay/disorder.
    2. He does not understand your questions. When your child ignores, repeats, or gives you a blank look when you ask a question. It means that he probably doesn't understand the question.
By the age of 3 children should already be able to answer "who" and "where" questions, such as "who is wearing the red skirt" and "where is the remote control". At the latest, a child should be able to answer the "why" question by 4 years old.
    3. She has difficulties following commands. Ask your school teacher, see if she senses something that is off. See if your child can follow instructions nicely when spoken to her.
You have to be careful though, that your child is using his eyes to compensate for the lack of auditory comprehension skills that he has. Remove any context and visual aids, then try to see if your child can actually follow only using his ears!

My daughter like to speak and understand my command (without gesture) but cannot answer why questions. She is 4yrs old. So is she language delay? 😢

You should get an assessment when you can, she should be able to do it already!

Hello great video, I just subscribed🌟. My child is 2y 4m we went to his first speech therapy today and she said he is behind in expressive language and Auditory Comprehension. He was referred to get a Psychological Evaluation done for Autism. Can you please help me understand the severity of this diagnosis.....expressive language delay and auditory comprehension. Thank you.

Those 2 diagnoses should have a severity label on them. For example, mild expressive language delay. You should ask for the "language age" of your child to know the severity!
